Haha government barely works for a single country, how well do you think it would work worldwide? Why should I have to give up anything for someone thats too lazy to work? By your logic if I don't feel like working then the good ole' government will give me things for free. How fair is that to the people who pay for it? You're one of those self hating ultra left wing liberals. Fuck the poor people who can't help themselves. In nature its survival of the fittest, everyone can't lead the same happy life. Diversity among countries is good. I suggest you move to china, your philosophy works great with theirs. Just try and speak out against a corrupt official and see what happens.

Well then move to europe where EVERYTHING is controlled by the government. The government can't even manage itself let alone a billion dollar entertainment industry. You sound like a communist saying how the government should break up businesses. How would you feel if you started a small movie studio in your garage that grew into something major, and then the government comes along and says "you're too sucessful, break it up." Would you still have the same opinion. So far stealing music hasn't made it any cheaper.

  9. taking away freedom on Mozilla M17 Is Out · · Score: 1

How the hell is a small stable and fast browser taking away my freedom? I use IE to read slashdot exclusively because netscape can't even properly display the pages. I read in threaded mode and click on a thread halfway down a page, I click back and I'm at the top, not where I left off. Thats annoying as fuck, somehow the evil and non standards compliant IE gets it right. Yeah I'm going to fight for mozilla, a slow shitty bloated piece of code that segfaults before its even installed. I use IE because its here now and works.

  10. you're wrong on Mozilla M17 Is Out · · Score: 1

With 75% market share of IE mozilla isn't going to make a dent. Maybe on unix platforms but what percentage is that of the desktop market? So what is the reason these features are being added? Big deal mozilla runs fine on your box, but its still alpha code and nowhere close to a finished product.
