If you avoid drinking, or driving, altogether it is. Otherwise, it becomes somewhat of a guessing game. Even if you spend the night, you can still be intoxicated in the morning.
Fact is, what you put on the Internet about yourself is public.
These photos could have been posted by anybody. I've even looked at random profiles of people I don't even know and found photos with me in them. It's quite difficult to put a stop to that.
In addition, I'd put a dead corpse within the pyramid. That way, if someone was stupid enough to enter, the sight of the dead body should be enough to scare them away.
Maintaining an address book is hard work. Facebook does all that work for you. It's no surprise that something like Facebook became popular because it's extremely useful.
I also live on a farm, and have my own grain farming operation. Without a three crop rotation, disease is inevitable.
Even with today's prices, corn isn't all that profitable anyway. Cost of production will be close to $5.00/bu. next year. I can only sell that crop today for $5.35. $0.35 profit is peanuts. I'd be much better off growing wheat or soybeans.
Except you can't continue to grow corn year after year. Crop rotation requires at least three crops to be effective; typically corn, soybeans, and wheat. While you can get away with breaking the cycle for a few years, ultimately the other crops are still going to find their way on to the land, even if they are less profitable.
If you're a software engineer, you can reside anywhere there is an internet connection. It doesn't matter if there is a local market for your services.
The only interesting thing about the iPhone is the software and coming up with something that is better than Mobile OS X would be a pretty large undertaking. Although Android may certainly help get us there sooner than later.
Do you think terrorists plot their next attack in silence? No, they listen to their favourite Metallica songs downloaded from a P2P networking program. Ergo, copyright infringement = terrorism.
I do have fast user switching enabled, but I have not switched or logged out of my current account since the last reboot. Perhaps having it enabled is enough?
Linux is open source which means that absolutely anybody can offer you support on the product. I find it extremely hard to believe that by 2014 there will be nobody in the world willing to support older Linux installations.
I don't know it's full history, but from what I can gather, Google Project Hosting was released in 2006. Subversion was the best option back then.
I don't think anyone would question FreeBSD switching to Subversion in 2006 either. But it's 2008 now. Things have changed significantly on the VCS front.
It's pretty safe to assume that the commodity PC version of OS X would sell in the same price range as Windows: $400-$500. When you factor in that cost, it's cheaper to just buy a Mac in the first place.
There is no advantage for Apple to support the regular PC. And unless you are a part of the extremely tiny group of people who like to tinker with your hardware, there is no real advantages of running OS X on PC hardware either.
SVN really is dead. While I could understand the move a few years ago, SVN is antiquated technology now. I'm not sure why anyone would want to use it in a new rollout when there are newer and significantly better options available now.

Since when has there been a corn supply shortage? There is more corn in storage now than there ever has been before.
At yet, grain commodities dropped significantly the last couple of days. So much for biofuels being the cause of higher food prices.
Hello, Robert.
Understanding why 20 years of Java experience is important for all new hires to have.

I believe what you meant to say was: I will ride my sled down to your main igloo, eh? And throw snowballs at you hosers.

Except Safari follows future standards (CSS 3, for example) instead of making up it's own random "standards" like IE 6 did.
If another application can execute malicious code as the current user, that code can just download the file itself.
Same result here. 10.4.11 PPC.

Wine has Photoshop support because Disney needed it. Apparently nobody has needed Quickbooks support, else it would also work.

Technically speaking, a fax machine is just a computer with a modem and printer.
It's good enough for the telephone system, so I don't see why not.
