Is anyone else p.o.'ed like me that the "STOP" light on older versions of Netscape has been replaced by the confusingly-similar word "SHOP", with the STOP button FAR displaced to the right? This is clearly an AOL ploy.

Also, one of my favorite features is search within a page (ALT-F), which was previously a button, (Binoculars symbol). I think AOL is manuvering Netscape to discourage you from going where you want to go, and encouraging you to only follow linkes, ie to their banner-laced sites.

If someone can suggest fixes to the above, or can suggest an open source browser that lets you configure the buttons, I would appreciate it. (Disclaimer: I have not tried other browsers besides netscape and IE)

As suggested in the above book, The Trouble with Dilbert, you may find very little politics at places which display Dilbert cartoons. At such places, worker gripes are something to be laughed about, but not really addressed.

For example, do the downtrodden characters in Dilbert ever try to form a union? Demand Respect? Demand the benifits workers in most other civilized countries have, (childcare, healthcare, 1month vacations, etc.). The claim is that the answer is no (not being a Dilbert reader I can't confirm this). Now I'm not an office worker but the claim is that a Dilbert office is an obedient office.

Its a 1 person vehicle, meaning that if you are driving you are 100% occupancy, so you get to use the carpool lane, and can bypass bridge tolls. Also since its so small, insurance is cheap (same as motorcycle insurance because it can't cause any damage to other cars) It also parks in motorcycle slots.

Here in California, every new supermaket, mall & anything with a big parking lot has special parking spots with EV chargers. So getting your amps is not hard unless you go on a long drive out of town. The Sparrow is basically a nice urban commuter car which uses no fossil fuels. Obviously its not a "family car"

So am I. Could barely make out a vague "S" shape in that article. Had a hell of a time w/ the resistors in physics lab. Most people's concept of color is rather arbitrary as I like to point out to them. Here's a example:

I see "green" stoplights as PURE WHITE, whiter than car headlights. Most people call these "green" lights, and they also say that grass is "green".

What's intriguging is that the light that comes from grass & that which comes from "green" stoplights MUST be different, because I can distinguish them. (Spectroscopic analysis would confirm this.) So from my perspective non-colorblind people have a difficency because they use the same word to describe two "colors" which are clearly distinct to me. (even though, if pressed they admit that they are different shades of green)

I'd prefer to skip these arbitrary definitions, & just say, for example, "Hey, I really like your lamda = 750 nm dress!"
