What this is about is cowardly school staff that want to avoid any scintilla of responsibility for minor accidents. The are completely aborgating their responsibility, the responsibility that we expect them to take, the responsibility for which they are paid. That all files will end up in some form of container in which the metadata is embedded. There's probably already a patent for a similar system currently in use and the very idea has RIAA and MPAA people drooling all over themselves in anticipation of finally owning everything in the box.
