I think I saw an article a while back that IBM was going to add even more bloatware and start including "starter docs" to take the guess work out of creating day-to-day files and records. That's not personal data, those are "templates".
Earth has 4 TIME CORNERS!! Further proof that Americans are dumb, educated ONE stupid and they worship ONEism Evil. It is not immoral to kill believers, for the stupid bastards EVOLVE from son or daughter who precedes them. NOT one damn human adult has ever been created - for ONLY babies are CREATED - and every adult has within them the LIFE given by children who DIE to give-up their lives to their parent image - so their mom or Dad can live.
Seriously though...I hope he doesn't turn out to be right.
It's a good idea, but if they really wanted to see if it works then they would release a film with some big-name actors. This just looks like some B-movie pseudo-thriller.
While I agree that there will probably not be a "nuclear meltdown" I think you're being a little harsh. Tigger's Pet has a good point about the impact on the rest of the world, economically speaking. If China had a similar catastrophe how do you think that would affect the prices of the many goods that come out of the country? Hell, computer prices in general are probably going to go up now and that's just one of Japan's contributions.
I would have to think that catastrophe on any scale affecting the classic generation would result in different types of harm to outside living in some way or another. If a coal plant goes up in flames then we have to deal with the massive air pollution and damage to anything that happens to be down-wind. If a natural gas plant goes up, same thing, except then we're dealing with toxic levels of gas on top of all the smoke. They all have their good points and bad points. I sill believe that nuclear power offers more pros than cons.
I don't know how much if this is true. I assume there is a modicum of truth in all of these reports, but these guys seem to offer a more rational and less sensationalist explanation.

Just throwing out an idea, I think it would be neat to use a NASA-ish artificially colored satellite view of a city. At different points; record say three different metrics; secured network strength, open network strength, and say number of networks. Assign each an RGB component and color your maps that way. You'd be able to quickly look at a map and determine based on color and intensity the approximate characteristics of WIFI all over a map.
Very cool idea. You could do this with the data that WiFiFoFum gathers. It logs all the APs you drive or walk past and then exports to a KML file that Google Earth overlays onto the satellite images. I'm sure someone out there could convert the information into colors pretty easily since all the information that you suggested is included in the file. I managed to get the app just before Apple pulled it off the shelf and its bad ass.
I have to think that that this only applies the networks in the U.S. since the overseas bandwidth doesn't affect us here. I'm not even sure that they're on the same military network over there that they are here. I may be wrong about that, though.
Either way, I still agree with you. At least they didn't block Facebook since that's one of the few ways the guys have to talk to their families. That and Skype.
Why the hell did they bother to block MySpace...does anyone even use that?

restricted:

We really need a federal law that defines "unlimited broadband internet."
Maybe I'm jaded, but anytime I see the words government and Internet in the same sentence I get worried. The last thing we need is the government involved with anything that has to do with the Internet lest we end up with the "government's version" of the web. I like that it's a true "free frontier". Or at least, as much as it can be.
...they'll find a bunch of lonley socks. I mean, those fuckers have to end up somewhere.

Jesus will do it, don't worry.
Posting to undo my 'overrated' mod. Was going for 'Funny' and slipped....
I'm thinking Homer made some sort of contribution.
My iPad2 can do all of that and more.
What if I shot my wife and calmly called 911...would they put me at the back of the queue, thus putting her life at risk?
I know, I know.. not likely; I'd be ecstatic and they'd misinterpret that for stress.

No need. You can see the guy is bat-shit crazy in the first paragraph.
I thought it was their small hands that appealed to the American (or maybe males in general) ego and need to have a large penis.
Hah, yes I'd have to agree. At least Goatse is upfront about trying to mind fuck you. Here is a funny ass video of an interview with the "creator".
I thought we done with this "theory" crap ever since this guy revealed the truth...
LOL (really). Hey, you're not by chance the same guy that started this website, are you?

I believe the funding for NG comes from state and not from Federal, as it does with the Regular Army and Reserves.

This guy certainly has no problem relating to his RealDoll.
