What are you doing to stop people from physically invading Sealand and taking it over? I mean it is consivabel that people like Metalica could just overun the island and take over the servers if they don't aggree with what you or your client where doing.
I just noticed that http://www.geeksinspace.com/ was actually registered. I highly doubt that anyone on the/. staff would actually host a page through Network Solutions. Does anyone know anything about this?
I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your corporation. I've realized that you are not actually humans. Every human on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding corporations. But Microsoft does not. They move to an area and they multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way they can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Microsoft is a disease, a cancer of this planet. They are a plague. And the DOJ is the cure.
I recently switched from Time Warner's(read AOL) Road Runner to an aDSL account on a GTE phone line.
My ISP, Rapid Systems, has provided great service both with the inital install and with any problems that have come up in the network so far and GTE has solved any problems with the actual wire quickly and without problems.
I would suggest looking into another DSL provider, but cable was slower and with a lot less features than DSL and should be avoided at all costs.
Let me first say that I do have moderater acces at the moment and I was going to mod you down but not because hating UF is not allowed. The reason I didn't was I wnated you to know why you where mod'ed down.
Anyway, lets say that you made a website. This is all you did to recive income. You added new content to this webpage daily and you where getting millions of hits a month. However, you just relied on banner ads to pay for your expenses as well as those of three or four other people who are working full time four you. Withing a month your website would be shut down and you would be out on the street.
Now, you may say the UF Media makes them a sellout. Well, almost every sendicated comic has sold out so why not an online one? And even if UFMedia is not entirely a good thing, so what? The comic strip is still funny and they don't have anything nagging you to go to that site or that of your advertisers. The only thing are a few advertisements along the tops and sides of the page. And if this a bad thing I suggest you don't watch television because you are in for a real suprise.
Recently I have been purchasing all of my domains through Joker.com. They are located in Europe, charge ~$15.00 US per domain per year and have a a good policy.
The interface is not the best but once you get past that they are great.
You mean I have listended to all 26 episodes at least twice, hour after hour of you guys talking trying to get another opinion on the events surrounding the open source community and after all this you say "At least we had a good time. Thats what this was all about"!!

I know what Dr. Dre is really trying to do! He is trying to get call attention to himself so that we all download his music so he can sue us all and then we say "Uh-oh we had better buy his cd so we can't be sued" thereby driving his rather dismal sales through the roof. Those rappers....
