    Can you really compare circumstance to choice? No. Sure, living in such a location is choice too, but you'd hardly just up and move elsewhere.

    I don't care about the triforce rotations, but... ZSNES is definitely not perfect for the reason that it plays ROM hacks that don't work on a real SNES (and sometimes also vice versa). This is exactly why there are people who need to test their ROMs on something like bsnes, which tries to keep every little original hardware quirk in account.

    Basically, ZSNES is for the (x86) players. bsnes is for the ROM hackers. It's fine that way. Now let's hope more ROM hackers actually start testing their shit on bsnes.

    They could have revolutionized, no problem. It happens all the time. What they shouldn't have done is call it GNOME 3 if it's vastly different from any GNOME we know.

    Right now, in some aspects, it IS as slow as Flash. Thing is, that's a part that's going to be improved since there's a demand for performance, whereas for Flash it's all up to Adobe to improve performance.

    The examples look pretty cool. However... The ad example alone takes about 60% of both my CPU cores. Both HTML5 technology and EDGE have a fair bit of optimization to do before it becomes actually useful.

    When I heard of the name "Dice Age", I didn't associate it with "Ice Age" at all until it was mentioned in the post. Not only that, but I associated it with the geological era before the movie.
