Right, not to hide behind stereotypes, but some of us are actual loners, as in - no SO, mistress or anything of the sort. And quite a bit of us are quite depressed. "pull yourself together" and "fuck like a rabbit" are as valid responses as are they useless.
Cellular networks are inefficient in todays' usage model. The problem is in the network, when it requires firing up a nuclear powered Rube Goldberg contraption for establishing a fucking CONTROL link. Second. An SMS is 140 bytes. That alone mutes any arguments for billing SMSes. It probably costs more to bill for them than for actual transmission.
Google traveling wave reactor. Solves the issues you mentioned, except the financial ones, because they are not caused by the reactor design, they are political.

coreboot+linux+KVM+PCI-passthrough+forked kernels means the manufacturers can do whatever perversions they want to the kernel in BIOS flash, and publish a bog standard VM API for the actual (HDD loaded, distro controled) kernel. Modern hardware ships with dependable hardware virt, or at least some of it (thanks AMD). Thing is, they don't care, neither do we about them. He who uses linux knows enough to get around the issues - he who doesn't runs something else - hardware makers are idiots - those are the facts of life. And whats linux on the desktop to you, any way? I'm an avid linux user, yet you get more worked up about its (perceived or otherwise) deficiencies, than I do, and yet you seem to hate it. Could you please explain yourself?

Fedora KDE spin, Try it - the installer is much less prone to crapping itself, the installed OS as well - has everything you listed. Oh, and don't give me the RPM hell story - tell it to some sucker still running FC5.
Not to mention that in futile efforts to get mass down so the rolling trash cans can get between gas stations without pushing, reinforcements between the roof and lower chassis are often sacrificed - ever seen a car crusher?
Molotov cocktail out the window.
You raping your filesystem, even if it's only spacewise, unless you are using ReiserFS.

Someone invent a motivation pill that doesn't fry your brain, please.
Why do I feel that way even now?
there are alternate dns roots. find them yourself.
Don't SCRAM, power down to idle.
It isn't actually cheaper - it's subsidized.
Some regulations are good and efficient. The current set are worse than useless.
What benefit?
What happens if someone somehow screws with the IMEIs, and how can that be done.?

Unlimited traffic, is what I usually interpret Unlimited as, now if only it was unconditional as well.
I'm an 18 y.o. hippy, and I think anti-vaxers are idiots.
Inefficiency at its' best.
And how do you address those underling issues all at once? (no, I'm not that fucked up. I'm even more fucked up.)
Some aren't. Some over 18 as well. Darn it this thread is making me depressed in the most humiliating way.
What about sliding vertical doors?
