I expect the next 188-page PDF will feature a device that will plug directly into your forehead to inject a digital signal to your brain.
NEWS FLASH: Until we start augmenting ourselves with electronics, people perceive the environment around them in ANALOG ONLY! To me that sound like a pretty big hole to plug.
What reality do these executives live in and what are the subscription rates like? Somehow I'm not understanding how [successful_product] + [convoluted_restrictive_buzzword_technology] = [attractive new product].
I personally like using liquid oxygen to cool my pc. It makes running dailies more thrilling knowing that I'm just a few centigrade away from leveling the block.
<tinfoilHat>Re. the retardation of culture. Where would you put that on the 'continuum':
(large, full-body tinfoil hat): The answer is obviously A... they're out to destroy and control society. You will have to pay the monopoly to enjoy and participate in life. (small tinfoil hat) Hmm... I like B. Don't want the dirty communists/fascist/democrats/hippies/war mongers to get away with corrupting our youth. (that's aluminum foil you're using) You've got to be kidding, C is the only viable option for protecting creative works from outright theft. You have to support and protect the artists if you want our culture to advance.
I don't get why they even bothered with the WiiMote. Why not just transplant a Roomba onto the mower, and GPS inputs as virtual boundaries for where there are no fences and let it go? or you could just get off your fat ass and mow the damn lawn.
It's been a while since I was in electrical theory classes, but doesn't a 13 watt CFL lamp consuming 28VA of power still consume less power than a 60W incandescent bulb?
28W less than 60W ??? I would hope so or I need to start studying new math.
This new technology will be installed on Chinese and Japanese fishing vessels to further depopulate the oceans and provide temporary low seafood prices. When asked about what they would do after emptying the ocean of fish, the Chinese spokesperson replied, "We're working on that."

Choosing a Microsoft product is the simpler choice when you work for Microsoft.

I hope this won't be like what happens in the US where the company deletes data, but when pressured by the courts, they happen to recover a backup.
While I think the pictures are interesting, the layout makes me wish I didn't read the fucking article.
Hmmm... not too sure if ROT-52 is enough. If you can make a ROT-208 accelerator for $100,000, you might just have a sale.
Why bother with that? I just encrypt everything with ROT-13... twice. Much faster.

haha... got excited and added an extra vowel
Please disregard, the word is LOSE.
Don't I feel backwards for writing it year/month/day---but it makes sorting backups and such so much easier.
Are you suggesting that MS should develop self-destructing betas to promote upgrading? What a radical idea!
UPGRADE OR LOOSE YOUR DATA!!!!
First time I've seen a goatse comment and thought, "boy that's insightful."
I must be hanging out here too much.
Get an orange filter/lampshade to go over your CFL..... makes your skin look fleshy again.
Or start dating girls that are into zombies.

Thank you, my friend--you've just provided to me my preferred method of suicide: by caffeine overdose!!
So, you're telling me that this might be ready by the time Windows 7 is released?
Yes, but there are no ethical rules against watching your two lab robots fuck each other.
I'm sure with the right thesis, you can get away with watching student volunteers fucking each other.
Yeah, I read it like that too. Course I kind of expect Google to sponsor growing a small moon.
Obligatory: "That's no small moon."
