It takes 290 votes in the house of representatives to overturn a Presidential Veto, and 67 in the Senate. In the 106th Congress, republicans had a 223 member majority in the house and a 55 member majority in the Senate. Hardly Veto-Proof.
Repatriating money is specifically the act of investing the money inside America, moving it out of country to avoid tax, and then moving it back at a later time, thus REpatriating. Do you look anything up for yourself?
I have to agree with this. As a Conservative myself, It continually pisses me off when I see some congressman with an (R) espousing conservatism while wanting to enact legislation that takes away ANY kind of freedom. Be it freedom of marriage, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, expression, etc. In this case he wants to take away my freedom to download something i've already purchased and make it a criminal and not a civil action.
These fucks are just as bad as the (D)s who want to take away my right to bear arms, my freedom to disagree with "scientific consensus" and my freedom to call the President an asshat without being a racist.
You got modded up to a 3 for this? He was in fucking office from January 20, 1993 – January 20, 2001? Can you fucking add? since when are Presidential terms 6 years? You don't just get to ignore the tragedy the Clinton presidency was. He fucking sold our nuke tech to China and killed your precious fucking hadron colider. Fucking deal with reality.
This trope of "Microsoft Monopoly" in this day of the Apple Coffee Shop mafia is patently absurd. I've seen homeless people with macbooks, ipads, galaxy tablets. Move on.
LoL, Motorola will lose a negligible sum of money in the 5 seconds it takes them to remove the software. They settle these things for breakfast. By noon their CEO will be having a drink with Steve Balmer chuckling over their "loss", "Good one Steve, I'll get you next time." While colluding with each other on how to screw you out of more money.
In civil cases there is no guilty or innocent. I don't see the difficulty, you aren't prosecuting a criminal act.
If a guy from Motorola beat the F out of some guy from Microsoft, then yes, he would be innocent until proven guilty. The law is ment to protect people from losing their freedom (jail), not to prevent corporations from annoying each other.
And I believe "Inanity" was a joke, and not a legal term.
Really? Woz is actually going to say anything about patent trolling being bad after his company has just about sued everyone who makes something with a rectangular screen for patent infringement? THAT is f'n priceless.
In 8th grade science i turned in a report on Jupiter stating it had rings. My source was a brand new set of encyclopedias my mother had bought me that year. Since the ones in the school library didnt say anything about jupiter having rings, my teacher failed my report because she could't verify my facts. She did begrudgingly and with much annoyance regrade my report when i brought in the source material, but she made it seem like she was doing ME a favor.
This has clouded my view admittedly of teachers in general and science teachers in specific since.
The entire system at social security is done in COBOL.
Just sharing shopping carts with the unwashed masses gives me the shivers, don't think I want to share cars with them.
All this proves is insurance companies have finally figured out they have a "scientific consensus" to hang their premium hikes on.
I would certainly agree he was the most conservative acting of the last 3 or 4.

Wrong, they are left leaning. You are left fucking wacko.
Obama and the left gave banks most of their goodies a few years ago. Clinton deregulated the banks. Funny how you forget all of that.
Aye. Being worth a mere $200mil makes him just like you and I.
Lets start lobbing missiles at your family and see how you react.
Maybe when you do a Google Search for Portland Oregon it should show "Did you mean the Chinook Indian Nation?"
Btw, I am not arguing against any of this, but pointing out an article that at least discusses the conversation.
How about National Geographic? http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2007/02/070228-mars-warming.html
How much of that is double dipped money? The United States spending money in renewable energy companies based in China?
Geek fail.

Fortune and glory, kid. Fortune and glory.

I am sure there must be some way to tie this into human activity and profit from it?
