Slackware 7.2 is the what we're really waiting for. Still I like that they don't make new releases all the time.

I read the review on Ars Technica, and they think it's a problem that top shows that the system is using 253mb of ram on a system with 256mb ram in total. It's not, my Linux box does the same thing, even when I don't really run anything. I don't think Mac users are ready for Unix memory management:) We all know that that does not mean that the system is about run out ram and being using swap files. A Unix system will release the memory it needs.
Just pointing it out to scared Mac users, it's not a problem.
Perhaps stupid is a bit over the top, but the fact is that the common man can't set the clock on his VCR. The reason is, that the common man doesn't read the manual. If you read the manual nothing is all that hard to use. The same thing apply to *nix, you just have to read a little more.
When the common man can use his VCR, he can use *nix
That seems like a pretty stupid idea. How the hell is Linux suppose to get the drivers if they have been placed in a EXE file? That is just stupid, and wasting Windows users bandwidth.
Does that mean you got your computer for free?
If you're studying at a university Sun will give you the Solaris 8 cd's for free. In Denmark you can email campus@sun.dk (I Think).
I read somewhere that Linus promised Hans Reiser to include ReiserFS in kernel 2.4, but when Alan Cox came along it was dropped. It looks like Cox and Reiser don't like each other very much.
This not really news, other sites had this story a week ago. I actually think i saw it on Slashdot last week, well proberly not

In some countries (Denmark) you do pay per phone call

Why don't they just make it an animatede movie, and let Lara Croft play (with) herself?
