think the Northern Territory police shot him a couple of months ago when he pulled a gun on them. I could be mistaken, but it was definately one of the blokes who do the outback show

The guy you're thinking of didn't have a tv show. He was in a "Women's day" article about twenty years ago that got him the tag of the first crocodile hunter type guy. Ultimately he was just a big nutjob who eventually pushed his luck too far and they had to shoot him.

You've hit the nail on the head there, dude. Ignorance of the law has never been considered an excuse. You, in fact, have a legal responsibility to keep up to date with each and every new law that comes along. That's where the legal system becomes a scam. You need to be a member of the legal fraternity to even have a chance of keeping up - or be paying a member of the legal fraternity.
Ever seen someone told to leave the court and go and get themselves a lawyer by the judge?

  5. We're allowed to say fuck in Australia on Update on 'Blame Canada' and the Oscars · · Score: 1

Over the last few years, the police have been forcing moral evolution by bringing cases to court and having them tested there. At the moment I know it is perfectly acceptable to say, in our country, the word Fuck. It turns up on youth orriented radio all the time now. It is also perfectly acceptable to call a policeman a pig to his face. I still wouldn't do it in general, but I know that once I've had the shit kicked out of me, they couldn't then take me to court for it.

I am not a university student or a teenager. I am the IT Manager at a medium sized retail chain in Australia. I don't live in America but I have a fairly good idea of what your American family values are about. I have two children, myself and, so, have a faily good idea of what it is like to raise children in today's world. I think you have gotten the word FART confused with Marijauana. The argument has always been that marijuana leads (as a gateway drug) to other drugs.
In my country, I was aware of and could use quite eloquently the words Fuck, bitch and fart at the age of six. I also was simply told that swearing was the lazy option and if I wanted to demonstrate my intelligence I would be much better finding other words. Any society that can't teach it's children about common courtesy really shouldn't aspire to be the world's policeman.

Being proud of being of a certain race is stupid. Its like saying you're proud to be tall or proud to have blue eyes or something. You're born that way and you had no say in it.
    How can you say that?
For a period in my teen years I was definately ashamed of my race and my planet. Now I can see we all have a positive contibution towards the future if we realise it. Now I feel pride in my race and my planet. And it is in no way demeaning towards any other being.
