    Hold the button down for 3.5 seconds. It's 2 seconds on some cars, and 3.5 on others, Such as Toyota. So I say 3.5 to be safe.
    We are dealing with people in these cars that didn't learn their basic skills in them. So it may not even occur to someone to read the manual about how to shut the car off while in motion.

    What happens if you throw toy fob out of the windows while moving down the road?

    No. They have been found after words to have over heated pads, their have been phone calls from people with their foot on the brake and still run away. One incident involved a law enforcement officer. Presumably he had addition vehicle control training as part of his law enforcement training.

    Sure, some people may have been on the wrong peddle.

    By the time you realize it' out of the control, you could be going to fast for the brakes to over ride. I'm memory serves, brakes are rated at 70MPH

    They may have also been pumping the brakes; which depletes the vacuum.
    also,at full throttle the engine doesn't create a vacuum, so it might not have had enough to stop.
    It only take a couple of seconds to go from 65 to 100.

    Moot? hardly. over 75% of bandwidth is Spam. That mean more expensive and less bandwidth for people not spamming.

    so it doesn't work reliably. How d you know it's not an issue with the chip?
    Chips are complex, there are numerous things that could happen to a chip to cause intermittent problems.
    And with the board. Maybe A cap is leaking when a certain current is applies, or heat? I could go on and on.

    math teaches thinking skills, and the ability to break down complex things. So, yes, everyone needs to learn math.
    "everybody does not need to be taught physics"
    physics teaches critical thinking as well as practical applications. I've used physics in a non intuitive way to save someones life.

    teaches a way to discuss subjective material in a rational way.

    teaching kids to code teaches logic, engineering, and it helps remove 'magic box' syndrome. The younger they are, the more intuitive using a computer as a tool instead of an application running device.

    Not a myth. I see very smart kids get bullied pretty regularly simply becasue they are interested in things above the heads of most the people in their class.

    Using your example: A 6 point earth quake would be interesting in CA, but devastating in other parts of the world.

    Let me know when one of those little earthquakes shuts a city down for a week.

    Hint: Many disasters could mean up to a week without food. And said disaster may destroy your hours and not impact your basement, depending on what kind of basement you want.
    I would recommend getting some extra bean or chili and storing them down there. The bring up a few cans at a time. this way you have a rotation of things you are going to use anyways. Besides, two days without food will make you pretty weak and may compromise decision making.

    Are you being funny? Central Ohio does get tornadoes.
    Also, disasters can e man made. To train cars pulling dangerous chemical(Chlorine, etc) move through central Ohio? if so then their should be a plan in case of derailment.
