    Anyone else sick of these re-runs? For the past month the anti-Iranian propaganda has really ratcheted up. We're seeing the same tactics they used to scare the public in to supporting an invasion of Iraq.

    You would think that a good summary would be posted here, of all places, that told what this was, and left the conspiracy theory nonsense to the comments section at youtube. So instead of news for nerds, we get news for conspiracy minded idiots.

    TBH the 'upgrade your PC every 6 months" thing is about 5 years out of date. I'm on a PC I built in 2007, and the only thing I've upgraded is to put a little more RAM in it, and get a new video card after 3 years with the same one. The popularity of the consoles among developers means the games really haven't gone outside of those specs in most cases.

    If your idea of Nazi style jackbooted fascism is a bar being sued because they use direct images from the LotR movies in their advertising, then you're pretty well off, and really don't understand what the people that were actually exposed to fascist tyranny actually had to put up with.

    No one is saying the Tevatron discovered the Higgs, or that it 'beat' the LHC. They're saying that now that they know what they're looking for, they found HINTS of it in their data.

    Fun Fact: People from all over the world worked at the Tevatron in Illinois. We should all be sad it's gone. Also, many Americans are now working at, and helping to fund the LHC.

    It's sad that these projects that bring us together in peace, get treated as if they were sporting events or yet another political pissing match.

    Sure, if you can find someone to give you that much cash for them. Good luck. I'd put more faith in the value of rare comic books, personally. I know people that will pay real money for those. In life I've met exactly zero people who know wtf a bitcoin is, let alone that would actually take them as currency.
