In 100 million years anything could happen. A superbug that causes DNA to mutate, sharks grow legs, lungs, large brains and a desire for human blood. Just because we have no reason to evolve now doesn't mean it wont happen again down the road. I'm just saying. But you're right, if the path we're on doesn't significantly change, we will have no reason to evolve.

While I agree that women can choose to be gay, I find it a hard pressed matter for a man to choose to be gay. A man may find himself so desperate for sexual gratification that he will have sex with a another man, but he will likely still rather have a woman. Or rather, his attraction is to women but he will get off with another man. Sure, its a gay act, but the man isn't that attracted to men.

Because being religious is a choice. Being gay isn't a choice. Ask a gay person. A gay man can choose to have sex with a woman, but hes likely still attracted to men and is still gay. Sort of like attacking a person for being retarded. They didn't choose to be retarded, and they last thing they need is someone putting them down because of it. So that is the main difference.

In this day, all it takes is enough money and you can really push about any agenda you want. In the USA, we have religious conservatives who wish to align our constitution with the laws of the christian bible. With the right amount of money and persuasion, we could be facing the exact sort of thing that Ireland is dealing with. That being, making it a crime to say anything blasphemous regarding jesus and pals. While I honestly believe most politicians use the christian religion as a means to further their political gains, there are still enough people in this country who do 'cling to their guns and bibles' to make the threat of a theocracy a feasible reality. All you need is the right amount of money and a mastermind with a horrible vision to high jack a country. It could happen any time and it scares the hell right out of me!

I think the 60's something crowd had their action hero previously with Sean Connery, and then recently with Sylvester Stallone. Admittedly, I loved the new Rocky movie as much as I liked the first one. It was an emotional experience the whole way through. Rambo was an all out bloody assault. Stallone is the poster child for human growth hormones. We should all be so lucky to have that kind of rock hard body at his age! Sadly, we cannot say the same for Arnold, but I have a feeling we might see him come back. Maybe its wishful thinking, though.

I'm sure there have been many that have tried to go after the National Geographic photographers too. They just failed. I don't entirely remember if anyone made a stink about the little baby boy on the cover of the Nirvana - Nevermind CD, but under such loose laws, that would pretty much be covered under child porn. How about seeing Eric Cartman's cartoon penis on South Park, or Bart Simpson's cartoon penis in the Simpson's movie? I'm certain that people have flipped out and filed lawsuits over this, however, I do have faith that not every official takes these things serious. I do believe that a lot of us have better sense about us. We are supposedly a centrist country in the USA, but we always have to hear about the idiocy of the far right/left jerks who feel the need to impose their views on everyone else. I could, of course, be entirely wrong and we're all just screwed.

Actually, it doesn't matter how you dress or how 'nerdy' you come off so long as you have one thing on your side: Confidence. Women respond to a confident man more than anything else. If you believe you can have her, you probably can. The instant you start doubting yourself is the first sign that you don't stand a chance.
