I'd expect more intellectual honesty from Supreme Court judges.
You're kidding, right? These are the same folks who decided that there was a Federal mandate to allow mothers to kill unborn children, despite it being considered a "state's rights" issue up until Roe v Wade.
the UN 'resolution' fig leaf under which we went to war called for all countries to provide information the inspectors could use to locate the WMD
Which resolution was that? There were 17 or 18 related to the invasion of Kuwait and subsequent cease-fire agreement including the right to inspections. And the point wasn't to find Saddam's WMD, but for him to allow unfettered access which did not happen. Period. He violated the no-fly zones. He murdered innocent Kurds. He refused unfettered access. He played a game, bribing the French and Russians along the way, and he lost.
W Bush's Iraq policy was based on false evidence used to mislead supporters.
So how did he get it before Congress so they would pass the Iraq Liberation Act in 1998? Point is, the intelligence may well have been flawed, but Bush didn't do it. Also, as a further point of fact, whether or not Iraq had WMD was besides the point. What was important was the Saddam comply with inspectors which he did not do. This violated the terms of the ceasefire and led to the resumption of hostilities.
My first reaction was, "So, someone else has just learned the level of contempt the Executive branch has for us all; and I do mean All." Chainey, Bush, and McCain are really, really trying hard to make this Conservative Republican to vote Democrat in November.
While I somehow doubt you are a 'Conservative Republican', you do realize the document was written in 1994? Just like Bush 'faked' the Iraq WMD stuff in 1998, two years before he was elected so Congress would pass the Iraq Liberation Act, now he's being blamed for a 1994 (purported) anti-terrorism manual? You libs are too much.
Why don't you pay for the general lack of intelligence and house these people?
I do. I'm a taxpayer. I also pay for their insurance claims since I live in a low-risk area. Plus I give to charity. So what's your point, other than you like to ridicule rednecks who have suffered in a disaster?
Well it looks like you're holding water for Obama when you quote him. I agree this is a 'lesser of two evils' deal. Has been for a while (except '92 when it was the lesser of three evils.)
Unlike most, I've actually read Marx. What's curious is that he does not espouse a classless society. Moreover, he does not talk about equal redistribution of wealth, rather that there is no ownership. These notions that communism leads to equal redistribution of wealth and classless societies is how the 'useful idiots' get roped in to supporting communism.
If it's a Cisco VoIP system, then it's likely however whatever is set up. We use their 'soft phone' and it is so hit and miss that me and the other remote workers routinely forward it to landlines. Nothing better than calling a client and they can't hear you. Cisco VoIP is a piece of shit, but it bought the CIO another year in his tenuous job. Stay the fuck away from it. Long on promise, short on delivery.
Is that like an evil, thinly veiled fascist state using its hegemony to invade even tinier Iraq (economically orders of magnitude smaller and about the same population wise) and using its military power to deter anyone else from intervening?
Difference is the US is setting the state so Iraq has political and economic self-determination. China taking over Taiwan would eliminate both of those things. Considering how long Taiwan had economic parity with China and was so small, that should give credence to the power of liberty - a principle of the United States. You could, for example, consider the difference in what the US achieve in South Korea versus what China achieved in North Korea. If you think what the US did was evil there, well then, good for you.
One of the big concerns about the Chinese system is interference with the US and European GPS systems, and up until now there haven't been any set specs to start a meaningful discussion over.
Two simple fixes would be publication on the web of any bill before Congress for at least 5 days before a vote. The other would be in the new 'virtual' world, have Congress meet virtually like any other organization. They could each get offices in their State complexes and keep them closer to home and make it that much tougher for lobbyists to sway votes. Plus you would hopefully have fewer unfaithful public servants.
Sadly, Vista won't run Windows Update for me. And Microsoft could not get it to work, either. I'm sticking with XP until I have enough coins saved up for a Macbook Pro.
Please tell me how to reply to the article instead of a comment so that I bring my comments up a tier.
You are so obviously new here (if not a troll) but I have to tell you...only the first guy in gets to post to the story. After that you're on your own.
Funny enough, Bush proposed this back in 2001, right after he took office. But everybody was so upset that Bush and Cheney would talk with oil companies when drafting an energy. Yet another case where Bush did a lot but nobody noticed, like aid for Africa.
With marketing like this, the French taxi industry doesn't need enemies.
Funny, but I was thinking of the Dutch taxi industry. They're always amazed when I tell them how to get to obscure little towns without grand detours, cutting their 'clip' in half. I now use the phrase 'honest as a Dutch taxi driver' with abandon and alacrity.

Wow, this is EXACTLY what Obama's talking points are.
How original.

Airplane 2.
You've never read Marx, have you?

I'm old enough to remember when people said that about Latin America and East Asia
They said the same thing about Germany and Japan before that. Little to differentiate Germany post-Weimer and Iraq, truth be told.
Really?

Considering the Chinese were either illegally given our technology by Democrats or outright stole it I think their specs will be kind of close to ours.
Grow your own hops. It's not that tough and is easily grown in most places.
Besides, prices don't seem that high. A little high, sure, but not overwhelming:

And who elects the electoral college?
