Prior art should invalidate most of this stuff. People who have adapted OLD
ideas to the "new" age , are just assholes. 90 percent of all this was done
on Bulletin boards before the internet became popular.

It is time for all of us old timers to bring this silly stuff to an end!

In many States, you can get a class 3 firearms permit. My State of
Texas is one of those. After passing a background check and taking the time
to fill out some forms, you can legally own a fully automatic weapon. You
pay a gun stamp tax, and can apply to sell them also.

This guy has the right to face his accusers in a court of law. He should
have gotten a lawyer and requested the idiot's identity who reported him.

It would cost a bit, but would educate the moron, and possibly more who
    read about the trial.

All OEM's regularly create new images for their products.

in a multicast scenario whereby an entire production run
is copied to thousands of machines at once.

Been there, done that, had to create a new image when the customer

I would purchase sheet music for the songs I wanted to learn.

I assumed that my purchase of the music, essentially allowed

School bands, the orchestral and marching bands, all did the
same thing until Xerography became commonplace. Now I suspect
they buy ONE copy and burn as many copies as they need.

That would be a copyright violation, easily.

  7. I would modify the legislation. on Utah Law Punishes Texters As Much As Drunks In Driving Fatalities · · Score: 1, Insightful

Driving is a responsibility. You are operating a motor vehicle and there is ALWAYS the potential
for 'accidents'. Anything you do that interferes with your maximum concentration while operating the vehicle, is something you should not be doing.

Messing with the radio, adjusting your mirrors(something you should have done before starting the car), putting make-up on, the list can be endless, all interfere with your job. Your job is to operate the vehicle to the best of your ability. If you cannot understand these simple things, you should not be driving a motor vehicle.

I would welcome such laws nationally. But make them mandatory time, not discretionary time. 15
years hard labor repairing the roads you did the violation upon. I would remove the word fatal from the legislation. Any such stupidity should not be rewarded. You wreck my car, you pay the price.

In actuality, more of these types of drivers Cause Others to have accidents. They should not get away.
