There is no such thing as safe driving with an idiot behind the wheel.

Even then, we have inexperienced drivers which don't cause to many accidents, but cause people to do a lot of idiotic things such as tail gating, illegal passing, honking horns, ect. Perhaps the key to solving the problem is in a reevaluation of the psyche of the human mind?

That's absurd. If you're old enough to drive, you're old enough to take responsibility for the way you do it. If a parent can't trust her kid to drive responsibly, she shouldn't be letting him drive in the first place.

Have you seen some of these peoples parents?

Also, I lived in New Zealand for awhile, at the time, you could get near a full license I believe at the age of 16. The inexperience of these drivers plus the weird rule of going 100km/hr on the mountain paths [cop said sign = min, 100 = max...]. I lost several friends just from inexperience reckless driving, mostly not their own. The key is a step in the right direction but the parents who need to get it, most likely won't because if they would, they should be able to fix this problem without it.

two, its actually costs less fuel to run the AC then to have your windows down when your going at I believe 60MPH, because the wind at that speed actually slows your car enough to need more acceleration.

I have had to pass an idiot on the highway before, was my first time on the highway and my parents were kinda freaked out that I knew how to handle the car at 80+... On the highway and on normal roads the logic is slightly different I've found, I mean the speed limit is 65 normally, but I've passed cops going almost 85, didn't get pulled over because I wasn't being reckless and I was keeping up with the other cars. I normally see them pull people for reckless driving, or going 100+.

Then we've had a number of clients buying new computers and getting stuck with Vista. Their experiences generally range from bad to just plain horrible.

I agree with this statement, most people I know with vista and like it, only web surf or type up projects. They would be as happy with a Mac as they would be with Vista or XP for that matter. I'm not a big fan of Mac or Vista but that's besides the point. The people I hear have trouble, are trying to get by with a budget computer (min requirements or less) and trying to play games on it (10FPS on low quality any one?), or upgrading a incompatible hardware computer to vista thinking everything would go fine because they spent a lot of money on the computer a month before vista came out, so logically it can run vista (PS: life isn't logical!).

I personally have tried vista, and didn't like it enough to make the change (I love XP and windows 3.11 still). I still can't stand that a lot of people bash Vista for stupid reason mostly; the constant security warnings when ever they open a program (My reply: then turn it off), others bash the UI (then download a mod and change it), even more complain about how their graphic cards can't run the cool DX10 effects (then don't use them or stop being cheap and buy something decent for once).

Offtopic: What will be even funnier is when they then try and change from 32bit vista to a 64bit xp without researching what it means and then find out nothing on their computer works. We need nerds to guide these casual users!!! (with out the intent on making the company the most money ala Fire Dog and Geek Squad; though some really do help but others don't understand the difference between ram and hard drive [go into best buy and pretend your buying a computer, act like a complete idiot and watch how they will do 1 of 3 things, take advantage, make mistakes or actually be of some help]) XKCD comic

Maple story has been around for awhile, its fun and free. the way they make money is selling flair items, and they have made ALOT of money. *to lazy to search and paste urls*.

Other games coming out are BattleField Heros (think battlefield and team fortress 2s art style combined) and quake live ( browser based quake arena or quake 3 [I forget which]).

I cant wait for quake live to come out, they have been beta testing for some time.

Ways of making money for these two, battlefield is going to sell accessories for your characters (yea more flair), but they are also going to sell power ups like double exp from battles so you can catch up (or get ahead, they might put level limits on buying these power ups though) to your friends when you were too busy to play, this is a nice aspect and should sell well.

My favorite way, is quake lives aproach, they are going to have InGame Advertisement. Not pop ups or anything. But during loading screens they are going to have advertisment instead of some sort of screen shot. This means the game is free, fun, makes money, besides, who really cares about the loading screen?

"Could the single server approach become commonplace in the next generation of PvP-based MMO? I, for one, hope it does."

I played Eve for awhile, it is very cool how so many players in one place just change the approach of tasks which are common place in every MMO it seems. I would love for hardware to get a jump on software right now so we can have more games like this, but I think the only reason why it works well with Eve is the near unending world it has created. In a game like WoW, the ocean is the barrier, in Eve there is so much empty dead space that you can just chill in for hours and see nothing. I think if this was adapted for a land based game, the land would have to be even larger causing busy quests (travel from point a, to b, kill 'tree', travel from point b to c, turn in) would take forever to complete. I could see ways of this working but it is unlikely we will get to see it anytime soon.

    To above comments:
There was a group that transferred from one MMO to EVE, and took down a high level faction as complete newbs. They did this by rushing one of there big ships, with more starting ships then they could target. They would then literally just keep doing 1 damage till they won.

Also one thing that has attracted so many to Eve, is that casual players have just as much chance as hardcore players to keep up. Since skills are RT, they are both gaining skills at the same rate in a way, allowing casual players to log on, have fun and then just train while they are at work (which a lot of WoW players do, using 3rd party software those cheaters!!! I don't hate you, I just hate the system we chose to live in...). At the same time it allows hardcore players to do what they want. A lot of people in Eve have taken roles such as; trying to take over sectors, assassin guilds, mercs, tradesmen, pirates, police, politics and even spies. Eve has created a wonderful system and we should build off there success in the near future.
