    Every time an ISP starts hijacking NXDOMAIN responses, dozens of comments suggesting that this should not be done by the ISP but in the browser get modded +5 and are generally agreed with.

    So MS made their browser do it. What is the problem?

    (Other than using a monopoly in one market to get one in another.)

    First off, it's been said that people only use 10% of their actual brain power.

    Lots of stupid things have been said. People generally only use 10%-20% of their brains at any given moment. They use nearly all of it through the course of the day.

    Is it sad that I am more likely to recognize you and your posts by your sig than your name or UID?

    It is not sad. It is just because the UID is in a different color and on a different background and thus easy to learn to skip while reading comments, and the sig is not.

    TPM is only good if you trust it to be secure. I think the issue a lot of F/OSS people have is that you are taking Intel's word for the security of the TPM.

    Having a hands free conversation (I feel) is no different than having a conversation with whoever is in your car.

    Emphasis mine. You may feel that way, but you are wrong. Because of the extremely decreased audio quality with respect to in person, it takes a lot more concentration to talk to somebody over the phone.
