....so this means I've been waiting 25 years for an newer version of Elite. :(
(coming from a govt employee) This is absolutely correct. Blame usually filters down to some low-level employee. In this case, it's probably going to be the tea-lady (who will have no idea as to where the database even is)
I would also like to see a new Elite game. (along with a new XCOM as well)
I've gotta say, I've never seen a panda car on sale nor seen any civvies cruising round in a 2nd hand one.

Australia isn't too far behind...
...the top jobs aren't farmed out to foreigners as well. Imagine the savings in only have to pay your top execs 200k bonuses instead of 2 billion?
