No doubt you can explain the flaw in their benchmarking process that gave them a factor of 2 speed over sockets. Sockets are not slow. When people have gone away, produced something faster, and have figures to back it up, though, they gain some bragging rights.
There are no details about the benchmark on their page. A typical error is that the data isn't actually accessed on the receiving side. This may sound harmless, but it actually turns the results upside down due to cache issues.
Generally speaking, laws in Germany protect internet providers from the actions of users like in this case.
However, Microsoft Germany put a header on each page with their community banner.
The court argued that by advertising the user's web pages as "their" [Microsoft's] community, Microsoft becomes responsible for the content on their pages.
So the easy way out (for Microsoft) would be to display the web pages of its users unmodified and without any banner that claims it is Microsoft's content.
Please go to http://www.overture.com/ enter "bulk email" as the search term and click on one of the links displayed. This will cost the spammers real money.
Don't use a script to do this, don't click repeatedly, don't click on all the links.
Even if this is repeated again, it is still not true.
To send an "Abmahnung" for a trademark violation the lawyer can only act if told so by the trademark owner. This means that Adobe either told them to go after then Killustrator people or that they told them to go after anyone they think is in violation of the trademark.
The confusion arises from because there are other issues where many more people are allowed to send these "Abmahnungen". For example, if you advertise inappropriately then ANY competitioner can ask you to stop. But this is not the case here.
They lawyers seem to have taken down the their contact page, maybe too many people mailed them unfriendly letters.
Please, if you choose to mail them, there are many valid reasons why Adobe should have tried to resolve this matter in a more appropriate manner. But flames won't help anyone.
But Firefox CAN do this!

If you have a well-reasoned letter, send it to rsw@isarpatent.com or isar-patent@t-online.de

Fetchmail can load mail from Compuserve's servers. It has a special protocol built in to do this.
I've been told that this also works with MSN, but requires some tweaking.
KDE2 has a theme with short title bars as well!
