Since it's a prototype, I'm sure progress will need to be made to extend the range & power of the laser. Otherwise, it'll only be a short-range solution.
Would it be possible that more ambitious/less sinister programmers and/or modders could create a highly customized firmware or BIOS that allowed for more options? I guess I see a positive outcome to any leaked source code rather than the negative weaponry most people imagine.
You definitely have brough the truth to light. Nvidia's infamous nvklddm.sys BSoD still rears its ugly head. Windows 7 seems to have gottent past this horrible bug but I'm sure people will still see it regardless of which Windows 6.x version is around.
You can easily hit 3.6GHz on air w/ an FSB of 1800 (mind you, I use an aftermarket cooler - Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme). It's a great chip to overclock with & I'd recommend it for anyone that wants to build a great PC with a lower budget.
I'm looking forward to 7 & forever denouncing any future installations of Vista. I do miss 98 SE though. 2K was nice & XP gave better gaming performance but overall 7 is where my preference lies.
To go further with this thought... Is it any good regardless of "popular" consensus for an OS X alternative?
Nice reference to a game I thoroughly have enjoyed (except the endings!).
Thanks to all of you for explaining it. I'll gladly stick with Debian Wheezy then. =)
Would anyone mind explaining to me the key differences between Debian Wheezy & Debian GNU/Hurd 2013? What are the benefits of using GNU/Hurd 2013?
Maybe he's referring to the Mozilla codebase as a whole rather than just Firefox in itself?

This technology definitely has me thinking about the sentinels from the Matrix. http://matrix.wikia.com/wiki/Sentinel
Maybe the uni/multiverse had a "reboot" from a prior state?
I appreciate the insight. I wasn't sure if the source was a generic AMI base or a more specific firmware/BIOS build for a single motherboard.

An application for life-like automatons (robots) would be another. The gap of the uncanny valley would close significantly.

Thanks for the laugh. That's a "quality" image for sure.
Thanks. I knew I got something "fuzzy" about it all...
LoJack swiftly changes to HiJack with a good splash of water
Hell no, and did we surrender to Germans at Perl Harbor? Hell no! No surrender to M$. That's what I say.
I greet you, traveler from some unknown alternate universe. Where I come from, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor & the US survived it.

Newest changes coming in the RC http://blogs.msdn.com/e7/archive/2009/02/26/some-changes-since-beta.aspx
I believe the correct word is "losing" not "loosing".
Tell me why we're supporting Afghanistan again? How is the current government any better than the Taliban?
