not if you design a capture card that simulates that LCD screen the movie is to be played on... check LCD screen documentations. you'll see that past the controller card that digitizes the video and adapts it to the LCD, you can access the un-encrypted bits...
What the hell, they are going to pull copper pairs to each of those houses ??? couln't they just pull a 10GE fiber and each house would have had a 1G internet connection, with phone and catv ??? pfff pathetic
my city installs traffic lights and make them turn red right when you approach them on purpose, to piss off drivers, in an attempt to force people to use the stupid road level trams (that, of course, being on the same level as cars, get stuck in traffic). the problem with that plan is that the idiotic trams stop working at 11pm. so, if you go to the movies with it, you have to walk back home (how practical)
ok. I own some land in AZ, have an SSN and things, yet those dudes don't know about me and ask me to send them snail mail, plus 9 USD for them to take my info into account ??? WTF...
Why would requesting the report itself lower your chances of obtaining credit ? it doesn't make sense. those chances should only be lowered if that credit is accepted and you take the money.
and a larger even chunk where it is 19.6% (france). Most of europe has outrageous sales tax as well
you forgot one thing...
some ultra-low-pay dude @ circuit city finds a way to leak the non-encrypted movie...
mod parent insightful
the encryption is gone by the time the bits get to the digital LCD PCB...
most importantly, 16G is more than a half of the total disc space, advertized at about 30G

that's why I use a plextor drive... their firmware is very well written, and is totally oblivious to those things...
yeah, the time it will take sound-juicer to rip the thing to ogg
this is sooooo true, it's not even funny...
HAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHA
At least one other manufacturer has placed a bet on Itanium for replacing a proprietary 48-bit (!) processor.
And who would that be ?
see here
yeah, like destroying the handheld calculators line...

right, particularly as a dual opteron based box that does the same thing would go for about 5K...
not when it's freezing cold outside...
if people would all show enough common sense and courtesy
fo'get it, ain't gonna happen'

can someone care to explain ?
this credit report bull only seems to be used in anglo-saxon type law areas of the world. There's no such thing in France for instance
more like the studios want you to buy your movie collection all over again...
you know the justice system is broken when the sentence for copying a movie is harsher than the one for raping a 9 year old...
well, it's easy to figure out... why do you think most of the recent projectors are 1280x720 ???
well, that's because everyone thinks 720p is better (no more interlacing nonsense)
