    It's plain wierd, but this crap reminds me of demolition man, where everyone and his brother was implanted so that the monster police computer could track them anytime...
    this movie is from 1993, and described the world as it was supposed to have become in 2032...
    hell, guess reality joined fiction faster than supposed at the time.

    Shows your total ignorance. Most of the research done on the ISS is of what you describe in the second paragraph.
    For example, microgravity is useful in growing crystals for computing (allows extremely large samples of perfectly aligned atoms), and protein research (allows for protein folding that can't be done on earth because of gravity))

    Hundreds of things usually go wrong with the shuttle during the course of a mission. Little things here and there.

    Such as their Windows and Outlook going haywire at times ?

    where the hell did you find that information ?
    The shuttle uses 5 identical IBM special purpose-built computers (currently, they are AP-101S).
    These things are all but intel-based machines.
    here you will find more info on those machines.

    Simply put, they are based on the IBM-360 architecture, and where programmed in a language called HAL/S (High-Order Assembly Language / Shuttle).

    Do some research before saying stupid things, pal !

    well, seeing from previous incarnation, the RCA can probably switch between composite tv out and digital sound (same as optical, but over a copper wire)

    Hey,
    you should have checked the zebra website, which has the whole enchilada of manuals available at http://www.zebra.com/SS/manuals.htm.
    They have a pain-in-the-ass registration thing, but check those links, you can wget the pdfs without even accepting the stupid click through agreement...
