Same here, and ironically, I think it comes from my hearing being slightly damaged by loud music. I find the music just turns into "mush" without earplugs now, while with plugs I can hear melody. Ten years ago, I'd hear melody at the same type of concerts without wearing any kind of protection.
I'd assume they mean "in the neighbourhood of 100 GB", which puts a "standard" song at just about 3.3 MB. He must be listening to the same ridiculously short songs as the people of the companies that market digital music players..
Sure, people are buying Exchange and Outlook because of their feature set. But they also buy them for the support. Well yes, but at least in the company where I work, we don't get Microsoft products because Microsoft supports them so well, but because it's easy to find someone that has already handled hundreds of installations and support cases for other companies. For sheer availability of consultants, it's reasonable to use what "everyone else" is using.
Perhaps if people were taught how to type at a computer without looking at their fingers, they could look at what they're typing on screen while typing it. *POOF*, no need to proofread.
Now for my next trick, I shall attempt to walk without looking at my feet!

Ah, I think I also need some of that rocket science knowledge to understand how using telnet to connect to an IRC server would somehow be more sniffable than using a real IRC client.
Does Windows' telnet.exe send a copy of all transmitted data to Microsoft, or do you just have a problem seeing the difference between client programs and protocols?
Yup, If I had a stick somewhere within arms length, I'd shake it at my Power Macintosh 6100/66, which runs Debian GNU/Linux. (AFAIK, this box can not run NetBSD).
His fathers are a lot cooler, though. Discovering the core explosion and destroying a GP hull beats current addiction and fscking around on the Ringworld any day.

You seem to have greylisting and challenge/response filtering confused.

Unfortunately, the worm treatment isn't available where I live. I guess I'll have to bug my doctor about it again the next time I see him..
Apparently there will be a port of IBMs stack protector in GCC 4.1. Might be interesting to see how that changes matters.
I believe the medical term for a person such vaccinated is "A Clockwork Orange"..

What stops Dick from sharing his BSDL buddhafoo with Tom and Harry?
for people behind firewalls, a http-install would be even better.
