    there's lots of couples that form a merger only a few months after first forking. Sometimes they last but usually fail in the first 5 years.

    That was why I went from Linux->OSX->now Windows 7. OSX is a joke. All the freedom of windows and all the off the shelf software of Linux.

    I think this is why the Motorola Android tablet Xoom isn't doing too well. I often find my self calling it an ipad giving free marketing to apple. Calling it a Xoom just doesn't feel like a good name. They should have called it the Droid Pad or the aPad or something. They've built a good brand with Droid why not use it?

    Seems fair to me and maybe it'll help them fix bugs.

    There is no specifications on how I pursue happiness. I personally prefer to vote for politicians that will provide me more stuff at the expense of the greedy rich bastards that have taken it all from me anyway. Why should I bother with "Productive Work" and being just another tool in the machine when I can sit around eating subsidized food stamped Cheeto's and collect government checks.

    because they were both advancing regulation into an area it wasn't previously and into an area where it was unneeded. Sort of the solution looking for a problem.

    that's why de-dupe is block level. only the first block with the metadata will be unique to you, the rest of the file will be de-duped.

    Except it will most likely be on the S3 storage and there will be no massive SAN. Although S3 will de-dupe it on the fly and reproduce a fault tolerant number of dupes across different nodes as needed.
