You, sir, are missing something. People voluntarily purchase/construct/use swimming pools. Only a few people have ever thought it a great idea to fly planes into buildings. And almost nobody every thought it a good idea to have one flown into the building they were in.

A swimming pool is an accepted risk, understood by most everybody in the U.S. and even more so by those who own them. being killed by a random act of violence with no purpose but to bring attention to a cause that is not theirs to be for or oppose is not something people are willing to accept.

Out of curiosity, did you play it with the same intensity as the memories you had of it?

I just recently, last night actually, grabbed an SNES emulator on my Xoom to play some old snes roms. I seem to play just enough of them to get a memory of them, end up missing the hard parts 2-3 hours in to the game that I worked so hard to get passed but had no desire to play that long to get to them again. I guess at the very least it's nice that most emulators let you pause and save the game at nearly any point, so you can always come back to that one later.

you have a pretty liberal, brain washed, view of profit. It means you have added value to something. whether you've taken raw materials and refined them into something of more value and sold it, or you brokered a deal that allowed someone else to get something they wanted.

investment + labor = value add = profit

With your line of thought then everybody in the world is ripping off companies every day because they get more in their paycheck than they put into the company ie ~$0.
