If the government implements more gun control and the law abiding citizen complies with these laws, what will the government do to protect these citizens? Criminals will get more guns, take a look at countries that have done this.
I for one believe that you teach your kids what is right and wrong. Teach them to take responsibility for there own actions. Don't try to blame it on somebody else. If you make a mistake just say so and move on. Just don't make the same mistake twice. You can put blocking software on a few computers but you put it on all. Take Responsibility For Your Own Actions!
I don't even fill in the "H" in Hacker. I'm no Geek either. BUT I don't have a problem using OpenLinux 2.3 dual booted with win98. I even managed to get some simple windows programs running with WINE. Even managed to get sound on OpenLinux 1.3 before I bought 2.3. It's not just Geeks writing for Geeks anymore. A big thanks to the Geeks that have made Linux easier for the rest of us. I really get tired of looking at that darned "Blue screen of Death"!!!!!
I think the Gaming Industry has a lot to gain by porting all the new games coming out to Linux, so does the Open Source community. They should follow the the big coporations. I/m a newbie to Linux and even I can see they'll make money. That's what they make games for anyway. There are only a couple reasons why i still run windows and games are one of them, free internet connection is the other one. Time to read some more How-tos.

to play dvds on. standard audio cdroms. games most. but it'll never replace the computer. besides has anybody ported linux for it?
who wants to watch 2 boxes talk to each other. You can get that on the street corner.
