And apparently it's your fault if you have a home where contaminants such as toast crumbs and pet dander are not removed automatically by a microfiltering air cleaning system.
My keyboard has the issue where some keys make a crunching noise instead of the click that the other keys make. If you google on it, it is a rather large issue. I've been trying to put up with it because it would be a PITA to get the body changed and all they do is give you a shell that might have the same problem.
Maybe it's a sad commentary, but a lot of people don't do anything interesting all day. You go to work, put in a day, you come back. Even friends don't want to hear about that part of your life in great detail. It doesn't make a conversation. A big reason why entertainment (sports, tv shows, movies, music, et. al) is so popular is because it is fun to talk about it. Entertainment is so much more than sitting in front of the boob tube and zoning out. It has a relevant social context as well. It makes you part of something collective to have a conversation about, whether meaningful or not.
So why would they hire average people at a higher salary? That's mismanagement at the least. If a person doesn't have anything special coming into the company, then don't pay them more. It's that simple.
Nonsense, nothing can kill Tesla. Many slashdotters say it is so. If Elon is the business leader people seem to think he is, a union is nothing but a minor annoyance.
Yes, replacing my perfectly good USB-A flash drives would be a capitalist's wet dream, wouldn't it? Unfortunately it is not realistic for me at this point.
SURE, should I just throw out the 20 flash drives I have around then? Using flash drives are easy because I have built up enough that there is always one around.
Just last night I was trying to copy a small config file to my android box. Samba wasn't working for me. Sftp transfer? I set up an ssh server. Nope wasn't working either. I see a flash drive, and think, why don't I just simply move the file with the flash drive. I grab the flash drive and run to my laptop and remember it's a macbook with usb-c and I have no idea where the usb dongle is. I felt defeated at that point.
They should have developed it to *teach* someone to play go, and correctly assess and match their skill level no matter what that may be.

I've never eaten over my keyboard, I've never spilled anything on my keyboard. Many people who don't eat over their keyboard have this issue.
They did redesign the keyboards so they could have an ultra-low profile. It uses a "butterfly" mechanism. I don't know much more than that.

Using free time to watch TV doesn't help what?

But... But.. How will you do VR??
At least it wasn't an Apple TV. Not sure how you copy a config file to one of those.
So doors will open automatically so people don't want into them? And close more slowly so that they don't get hit in the ass? That kind of thing?
Will the city still work if I don't plug it into the internet?
Please forgive my ignorance but what exactly is a 'smart city' ?
I don't care what brand it is. When it doesn't work for me I get pissed off at it.
So it's mismanagement if these people weren't notified at the performance evaluation that they would be laid off.
Second post, and I came here to say exactly this.

Well, one thing is for sure. Letting go of people without good cause is not how you keep away a union.

So if they were below average, how did they get hired as the "highest paid in their position" ? At the very least, it is HR incompetence.
Yes and apparently we're witnessing how it happens.

In the end it seemed to be an issue with ES File Explorer. I switched to Solid File Explorer and copied out of my samba share.

But don't those ports look sleek! Focus on the sleekness.
