Does Google Maps actually push adverts through the turn-by-turn navigation in the U.S. now, or did you just confuse Google with some movie you saw? So far, it seems Google's success as an advertising business comes from being less obnoxious than the others. Pushing somewhat relevant ads might contribute to that.

No, he wasn't, and hiding one's action doesn't make a consensual sexual act into rape in Sweden. There's rape, våldtäkt, and there's 'sexuellt tvång', which is still more serious than what Assange has been accused of, but not rape.

He hasn't been accused of rape. He still might be a rapist, of course, but he's neither been accused nor charged with it. This has nothing to do with Lewinsky, AGW or uncomfortable facts.

Ah, made-up stats. How convincing. You also conveniently left out the monetary investment involved in the actual publishing part. Publishing isn't free, not even for ebooks.

And yeah, you got me: I've never had a book published. However, I've contributedto a few, and have a better idea of the work involved than you do, as proven by your resorting to made-up stats.

Whatever. Most decent writers seem to prefer to go the route through the publisher instead of self-publishing, for reasons which seem obvious when you've actually published something. A publisher does a fair bit more than just marketing and pressing Ctrl-P.

You're not allowed to install anything on your own on iOS devices, only apps from Apple's own app store, which in your own words prohibit use of certain APIs. For someone who claims to not give a shit about Apple, you're sure willing to lie to make them look good, which makes you a shill. And yes, also a liar. You're a despicable low-life spinster, and probably don't even get paid for it. You don't only disappoint, you disgust me.

There are thousands of shill accounts on Slashdot with excellent karma, regular fanboys like Bonch, BasilBrush and SuperKendall who spend most of their time doing freelance (and most likely free) PR for some corporation.
