    Untrue. Nokia still develops Qt for use with future phones, both Symbian (which is being phased out in a few years) and cheaper 'feature phones' targetting what Nokia calls 'the next billion' internet users. Nokia has stated the Swipe UI of the N9 is going to live on, and obviously not in Windows phones.

    If you're using the library computer for researching internet pornography for your master thesis in art history, that kind of filtering certainly is oppressive censorship. Moving to some other computer, more shielded from view, is just common courtesy. Well, perhaps not so common.

    How do you know the patent license costs more than a WP7 license? It seems unlikely, considering that WP7 phones don't deliver nearly as good hardware for the money, compared to Androids.

    Untrue. Although I know Foxconn does manufacturing for loads of corporations, there's certainly a lot of phones manufactured by others, elsewhere. I'd like to know which. If you assume by default they're all just as bad as Apple, you're simply taking bigotry to a new level.

    Exactly. Because even though we know Apple's workers conditions are shit, we have no idea how other phone manufacturers fare. Like with all other tech in the mainstream press, if it's not Apple, it just isn't a story.

    You won't get the KDE desktop UI on Windows XP. KDE for Windows is just the software collection, and since Qt uses Windows widgets on Windows, you'll get KDE applications that look like Windows applications, just not very well tested.

    This might make Unity usable. After all, its main problem is that it causes too much clicking around. Like OS X, just a lot worse, half-baked and with solutions that simply don't work with many important apps. This seems like something in the direction of Quicksilver, a shell that made OS X ridiculously keyboard efficient.

Neither the Russian revolution, nor the French, the Mexican, the Cultural, Khmer Rouge's, etc., were motivated by atheism. As for Hitler being an atheist, probably not.
