Interesting Houston has been going through traffic camera limbo, first they voted to have them, then not have them, then have them again because of some contract and now finally the city has decided to break the contract and repeal the ordinance that allowed them in the first place. So all the traffic cameras that are up are going to be turned off and to get them back on again or install any new ones the mayor and the city council will have to pass a new ordinance which likely won't happen any time soon. It's been a surprisingly big issue locally.
My father recently got a 'fine' for not coming to a full stop on a red when he was going to make a right trun he slowed down stopped and then made the turn but the camera decided no it wasn't kosher he didn't come to a 100% complete stop for the required amount of time so he got a fine. All they could do was fine him 75 bucks and say he couldn't renew his registration till he did it. Turns out you can renew online and bypass any such thing so that's what he did and he still hasn't payed the silly fine.
#1 The nineteen fifties called it would like it's pinko commies back. Seriously talk to any I know and all they really think about when you say Russia is hot mail order brides and vodka. Which you could get over rail if this tunnel works out.
#2 How much new rail would actually have to be constructed though?
#3 It's gonna cost less than all these stupid wars, I plan to write congress if this doesn't get the green light. How ever I'm not sure who is mainly paying for this it says it's a mix of public and private and it seems the Russians will be paying for a large bit.
#4 Not so much and I'm sure there will be a lot of pressure by the residence of Alaska to see this happen. an intercontinental train system means traffic and goods and people and all that means jobs and you can bet even Alaskian residents know that.
Well now with the sudden arrival of the news regarding the Siberia Alaska tunnel this joke is looking either more or less funny. I'm not sure which yet.
Invade Alaksa? No Sarah Palin will just shout across the water to her russian allies, which she can see from her home. No way the chinese would risk a war with Russia.
I know I shouldn't be so cynical but I have to ask who is the new dictator? It seems like every time I read about some rebel group over throwing some government things really never get better. It's just a new dictator in place of the old. Maybe I'm wrong and Lybian's will get a government that is fair and some what workable but I'm not going to put money on it.
For anyone thinking of voting for Mister Perry let me inform you as someone who has met the man and lived in the state he's governed for most my life he is not someone you want in your white house. He's managed to distance himself over the last few years from Bush Jr but that's only political maneuvering they are still part of the same good old boys club and move in the same circles. He's even using the same tactic as bush and trying to get in good with the religious circles to try and get votes. The one time I met and spoke with the met I came away feeling dirty, he's got the feeling of a snake oil salesman.
the only reason it didn't happen with mp3 players is because we zoomed by the period where they would of been popular. They got replaced by cellphones with in a few years of being popular. People don't really buy Mp3 players these days most people have cellphones capable of filling that role.
Hell even rockbox has an android port now.
No apple is just terrified of the same thing happening to them in their new markets as what happened with PCs vs Macs. I'd be afraid of superior cheaper products as well if I was them. Rather than innovate and try to stay ahead of the competition they'd rather throw lawyers at the problem.
It's similar how a musician listens to music is completely different from someone who doesn't play any sort of instrument. I read an interesting article about it and a few of my friends complain that they can't just listen to new music their brain always has to analyze it.
To me it looks like Google, is trying to force Apple and Microsoft into the corporate patent version of MAD (mutually assured destruction) with their acquisition of Motorola.
Way to have reading comprehension. Yes long ago people predicted apples failure most people have but that was ten years ago, no one has certainly done it with in the last few years.
He would start by putting in an application for the CIA, NSA, FBI and Facebook.
No idea, but I don't see the ads so I it seems to function just fine regardless of what method it uses.
Weird I seem to have Adblock and NoScript on Chrome, and on Firefox as well.
I thought the president just got messages from the big corporations as to what decision to make.
What does adrenaline have to do with heads of state? I mean unless you're Gaddafi and on the run from rebels.
I hope they do it and then years from now I can watch about it in movie form, it will be the spiritual sequel to the movie Cool Runnings.
What is TornadoGuard, I don't have an Iphone obviously it's some sort of software but what does it do?

New York to London would be awesome as well, maybe pick up a hot Russian chick to join you along the way. I do love me some foreign accents.

nah it's not eating it just yet, Cthulhu.exe has not even hit 1.0. We still have a few more developers minds to warp before we are ready for launch.

Well damn I'm sure there is a joke in here about Sarah Palin I just can't think of it. +1 to anyone who does.

Snape kills Dumbledore!
I'm sure there is a pun in here about either a dry dock or a wet dock perhaps both.
Ya I bet the Starfish can do fusion. I mean why else would anyone call it a starfish?
