    next gold rush? nah the land, or at least the mineral rights will be bought by corporate interests who will make a ton of money and you won't see any individuals making it big off the rare metals, unless they happened to own the land and the mineral rights to it.

    ya this story has been making it's rounds for about a week on the internet and I can't find any real world source for it. It's like the story appeared out of no where and then just proliferated itself.

    No one really uses Lilo any more really. Grub is a much more robust system and versatile. I don't see any mention of if it was from pressing the start button or from the boot loader loading up. I'm willing to believe that it's from pressing the on button rather than from the boot loader loading.

    They should let me run airport security, well have x-rays and bomb sniffing for bags, metal detectors, and bomb sniffing dogs for people. If you're allergic to dogs then, you can go through a bomb sniffing machine. ta da airport secure! No I won't search your laptop/iphone for porn, no I won't cavity search you for drugs. I'm not worried about you breaking the law I'm worried about keeping people safe. So long as you're not carrying any weapons you're fine.

    What happens if I refuse to open my eyes for the required scan? Is it resisting arrest? can closing your eyes during an arrest be considered resisting? Will they mace me to get my eyes open? and won't that effect the scan?

    ah you'd think so but you'd be wrong. Evidence such as your phone being at home or some place else seems to be viewed with suspicion. That how ever doesn't apply to evidence that places your phone at the scene of a crime.

    I learned to read playing the Original Dragon Warrior on NES. I've always felt games in general get a bad rap when it comes to their educational value. Even games that obviously educational often have some value to them. Granted some more than others. A text heavy rpg can really improve someones vocabulary as well as improving their reading. Where as a first person shooter may not have much in the way for obvious education.

    We all might make fun of gates but he's putting money into something that is worth while and often over looked. Having a safe place to poo is a pretty big deal, as it stands now a lot of places that don't end up draining into rivers and other water sources and making people sick.

    I just upgraded from Window XP to WIndows 7 now you want to tell me you're planning windows 8 already with in the year? It's not like windows seven is another vista, it's a solid OS and is remarkably stable, why do I want Windows 8?

    My take on it is simply this, the knowledge they need is in the defendants head, giving or otherwise providing that knowledge self incriminated and thus goes against the 5th amendment. The police can ask you where the bodies are buried but they can't make you tell them. Something in someones head is always protected under 5th amendment laws as far as I'm concerned.

    I dunno about MBAs but but I agree that most businesses focus to much on short term gain, often at the cost of their long term success. It's part of the mind set, of high powered business, and perhaps even Americans in general.

    Why in the world is the The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency going after piracy websites, how in the world does something on the internet fall into their jurisdiction? I'd like to know in who's mind their job has anything to do with Piracy websites located outside the USA. Anyone?

    Bit torrent can do large or small files with equal ease. It's just the distributed method of seeding really shines with large files.
