    and also natural diamonds are expensive, but man made ones are supposed to be quite cheap...

    Here in Brazil a dsl provider called telefonica was doing it, I hated that service because when u type just a part of the address in your browser (like google instead of www.google.com.br) u get the Telefonica search. we could opt out by checking a box in the search page, but it still showed their page without the search option. A couple months ago they had a huge problem with hackers in their DNS servers (I don't know if it was related to the search page scam)... took them a long time to solve it and they are still forbidden to sell new subscriptions to the dsl service untill they prove that they can provide a good quality service to the already existent clients.

    Here in Brazil it is forbidden to use cellphones while driving since they looked like big walkie talkies... But by then, must of the cars were not automatic. Nowadays our soccer moms have evolved skills to talk on the phone while changing the gear, steering the car and shouting at the kids hiding all that from the cops... It looks great when seen from outside the car!

    The thing is that the inspectors checking the sites are probably just disgusted by them, and don't get much fun out of that.

    I guess they could identify if one of their employers gets over exited by his job (maybe check for hair growing on the palm of their hands?)

    Water boils at 373K at atmospheric pressure... Hot water systems in a old hospital or industry near to you can carry liquid water at 500K easily. (and the molecules are still stable)

    I would guess the data center that you have been in are not thousands of miles away from the closes electrical output ;) That's such a cool job I'll try to apply for communication satellite maintenance.. or do they only hire vulcanians for this job?
