I'm Spanish, and we do buy Levi's jeans with small defects for a cheaper price. Almost everyone buys no- brand clothing at flea markets, also...
But what I had heard was of people flying to NY to buy Levi's at lower prices (?)
BTW, now I'm wearing a Benetton T- shirt with no logo visible, some apocryphal- brand jeans and artesanally- made leather boots. I rather tend to despise billboarding and most of my clothes have no legend whatsoever.
Another happy Workspot customer here ^_^ (though I found it listed in Yahoo!, so erase that 'well kept secret' thing).
My experience... let's just say that I uploaded one of my websites with only two commands: unzip and chmod. The work that would have got me silly walking for half the morning done in 30 seconds. Gotta love it. The GIMP, the mahjonng solitaire and the CGI bin are my three other reasons to sign in.
Market profiling is not such an occult science. Age groups, interest groups, census information, phone bill size and such parameters can be used to tune market strategies without resorting to top- secret files. In my country the state phone company was billed for selling information to businesses PROFILING its customers. Sad but true. And a lot cheaper than &2.5M.
Epicor officials said that they considered their worldwide customer list to be an extremely valuable trade secret, estimating the cost of losing the list at approximately $2.5 million per year.
Well, AT&T also complained about certain overestimated document...

If I told you that yesterday I had slept only for three hours and the only thing in my stomach was a couple of coffees, would that help?

Just today I replenished my ramen stock *sigh*. The only thing better is genuine Japanese soumen with cream and tuna.

There's a name for that and it's net.goth...
BTW, I nominate JWZ for "the most handsome hacker" awards!

You give her too much credit. She's the kind of person who has a waving letter floating around the screen when the mail comes!

Anyway, now I think it over, including a LINK REL to a text-only interface... uhm.
