    It's hard to say what her long term prognosis is at this point- it takes weeks or months for swelling to go down and the brain to return to normal and/or rewire itself.

    Sure, these kids won't need Microsoft until they get a job. The surface is for corporate folks that need a portable computer to do work and are aware that carrying a laptop will make them look out of touch (pun intended).

    I think your example extends to smart watches as well- what other use would you have for them then to see an incoming text or who is calling you so you don't have to pull your phone out?

    If you look at Ansel Adams' photographs from the early part of the 20th century the areas he photographed were devoid of trees and brush- fire prevention has created a huge backlog of flammable materials in the forest. Many of the photos he made cannot be taken now because of so much overgrowth.

    True- and large cryogenic tanks and associated filling equipment are probably more realistic on a large aircraft then on public automobiles.

    Actually almost all of the commercially available hydrogen comes from natural gas, not electrolysis.

    It's not that they skip- they start crackling and have a gravely kind of noise. Noticed this on my early 80's copy of 'Are You Experienced' almost 15 years ago.

    Running a network is expensive and a security/liability nightmare (as Sony found out) I don't have a problem with them charging for a service where identity is important.

    I wonder what mass of carbon had to be burned to create the aluminum? Not exactly sure how carbon fiber is made but it could come at a lower initial energy cost.

    I have a year and half old LG that I paid 45$ for that does most of the things I want and has a real keyboard. I bought a new battery for it on it's anniversary but I haven't had the urge to spend any more on a phone.
