    Yeah, and I suppose they are going to discard all their backup tapes there and at their co-location site.They are then going to contact the contractor they use and make sure they get rid of all instances too.

    Audit tables, backup tapes, clustering, mirroring, contractors ...... there are many more likely explanations than use as primary keys.

    Our desert racing club(NM) holds events on BLM land that may be leased by 2 or more separate parties- typically cattlemen with grazing rights and oil companies with mineral rights.

    Leasing BLM land does not give you exclusive use rights like personal property.
    If people want to wander into burning man and snap pictures they have every right to.

    And yes, BLM is a federal entity.

    It certainly appears that the Q9550 is in a sweet spot for low cost (including platform), power draw and performance.

    What is missed is that IE7 will never be offered for windows 2000- so IE 6 support is tied to Windows 2000 life cycle.

    I have a virgin mobile no contract plan for 20US per month, 200 minutes that roll over into next month, and have over 100$ worth of time that has built up. Consumers only have themselves to blame for over paying.

    Intel's next iteration for atom called 'PINEVIEW' is going to have memory controller and GPU on the chip- it is easy to see why they didn't design a completely new chipset for a configuration that was falling off the roadmap. Don't forget too that Intel goes through a pretty strenuous validation cycle for their customers which the 945 has been through.

    I am sure the next generation will address most of these power concerns and then AMD will be the one 'murdered'

    Maybe you can take your tinfoil hat off an recognize that this is a common engineering convention.
    How many times do you hear about a NASA mission that goes beyond it's failure window? AMD is simply defining the failure window for the chip. Of course they can and will last longer.

    You can criticize all you want but it is just plain easier to develop on the same platform you are targeting. Wake me up when hardware is cheaper than labor.

    Tis true.... calculations ranged from 30% to 50% of the earths humans dying from a TOTAL exchange of nuclear weapons with the soviet union during the height of the cold war. This factored in nuclear winter and all other worst case scenarios.
    That leaves a couple billion people to carry on the human race.

    Using the molecular weight of a molecule instead of its name or even atomic number would be considered extremely bad form. I do agree though with your first reason.

    If anything it looks like bing is injecting synonyms in its results and actually brings up more interesting links than google....

    It makes sense if you consider that the piece(s) of diamond could be contacting both surfaces at the same time. Think of how this would work if there was no grease component and just a thin layer of diamond dust- not practical but the heat would still conduct.
