    Yeah my grandfather raised 7 kids in this huge house in Westfield with summer home in Neptune... he was millwright at a ball bearing factory. Those days are long gone the house is probably a million+ dollars now.

    I got out of there 13 years ago. When I was a kid it was full of little farms and things like that but now it's been plastered over with dull poorly built suburbs.

    What's wrong with this picture? What if a honda civic was 100k and they apply a 80K off coupon when you buy it. It's crappy scam pricing and it affects the entire medical industry.

    That's really not what is being discussed here. We don't have to throw out the FDA's governance on general types of therapies, but why can't people import established drugs such as insulin or epinephrine from overseas? It sounds like unnecessary micro-management on the FDA's part. Or one could argue is that the FDA is just the strong-arm of the US drug manufacturers.

    My objection is that blood transfusions are a significant disease vector and should only be done when necessary.

    Who is this 'you'? I heat with a pellet stove, cool with evaporative cooler and WFH. However I am smart enough to understand that the paris accord is bad for America and that we aren't disproportionately responsible for the worlds ills.

    So very helpful. I tell my kids unless they have something to add don't say anything. If we are comparing nations with similar 'western' cultures Australia is the worst. Pedantry is not far from stupidity....

    Yes, pretty much. I don't have a problem with that. If you are so concerned you can give up your standard of living and stay in a yurt.

    Also I thought they way she announced she was running while sitting on the couch in a TV commercial was very odd. Seemed very lazy and entitled and it definitely set the tone for her campaign.
