Your in the same boat as I am though I am considering the PAX patch instead of Openwall to get to 2.4. That plus the newest 2.2 LIDS patch doesn't seem to work right for me....
Granted its much less efficient than a quantum level interaction but thats what a turbo does; reuse the exhaust causes to spin up a turbine. The turbines used then to compress air coming into the engine and raise the efficiency of the engine.
Seems to me like the best way to get a Golden Globe or Academy Award or one of those other 10,000 self-congradulating things is to play an eccentric genius or loveable mentally-handicapped person. After all, is there anyway easier to examine humanity than to observe someone who is extremely polarized one direction in the head? Yeesh. A Beautiful Mind was a well done movie and well acted movied but cliche in plot (even if it was based on a true story).
My pick for favorite movie? Probably "Amelie." Though a bit long, its sweet without being too saccerine and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's style is just incredible.
There's plenty of other stack overflow protections in which libsafe is only one of.
First, libsafe is a replacement shared library for a limited subset of functions, albeit some very common ones that are suceptible to stack based offerflows.
Other alternatives include StackGuard, a special C compiler and Solar Designer's OpenWall patch which is a kernel patch.
For the even more paranoid, the LIDS system is a very configuration intensive system of POSIX style capabilities (this is in kernel 2.4 too but slightly different). This system will lock down your computer very very well though if your interested.
Contour is an american name. Too bad also, the new Mondeo has been praised by the Euro press as a great handling platform. Its also used in the Mercury Cougar (which we *can* get) and the Jag X-Type.
Opers are friends of other opers, after all, its all volunteer, what did you expect?
I'm rather satisfied with Dalnet after EF and undernet, even though the splits can get bad at times. I wonder how often though machines get DDoS'ed. I'm sure its nowhere as bad as EF, channel takeovers are pretty much non-existent or very, very temporary.
There's a few concerns posted on this. Its simple, don't read it.
I have one of these, and its an outlet more than anything else. Yes, people tend to spout the same things over and over again. But these are normal people, not any type of celebrity. People are generally boring, its the way it is.
I control what I put up there, some of it is a bit private, but noone's going to do be able to do anything with it really, since they don't know who I am.
So there is no real point. It just is. Alot of it is for friends to read, for instance, livejournal caters to friends. So if you're not interested, just don't read it.
I think the point that most people miss in the posts below is you should listen to music *cause you enjoy the music*. It's THAT simple. It has nothing to do with how popular it is. What exactly is the point of listening to something unknown if you don't enjoy it?
I personally listen to some popular music and some unpopular. Its cause I enjoy listening to it, nothing more, nothing less. Sorry for being redundant, but I do feel strong about it.
VW AG owns Audi which is VW's largest division. Porsche is Porsche but occasionally the two companies get together for a project (like the old Audi RS2).
VW, btw, owns Audi, Lamborghini, SEAT, Bentley, Cosworth among others that I can't think of right now.

"..., conversion from Naturally Aspirated (carburator) to Electronic Fuel Injection with a Motec system."
What does having a carburator have anything to do with having a naturally aspirated car or forced induction?
In my day, we actually had to *walk* 5 miles up a hill to get to college

There was a pretty big multipage read on quintessance in the January issue of Scientific American.

I too had it compiled into 7.2 and it broke park of my init. (Like eth devices would fail).
I'm not too experienced with overflows, but how would the Openwall buffer overflow kernel patch by Solar Designer handle this, if at all?
