From what I've read about systemd it seems like a better system, and it sure helps with the fragmentation situation. Hopefully RH/Canonical can decide on Wayland vs Mir as well..
I don't think it is a violation of the GPL before the distributor of the binaries say "No, you can't have it" or fail to deliver within a reasonable timeframe.
3PAR makes the best SAN I've ever touched. I use SANs from EMC, HP, IBM and NetApp; 3PAR wins hands down. Only feature I miss is NAS functionality like NetApp.
I think this was a wise move by HP, as long as they are able to keep key personnel in R&D and not fuck things up.
It frightens me to see how so many people reply with "they are all terrorists" in this thread. Seem the new nazi state propaganda is working a little too well.

Yes, I was mainly thinking about the Engenio rebrands, should have clarified that. DS4300/DS4700/DS4800. As you said N is just NetApp.

Hey, why not burn all books as well!
If memory serves me right, you can use an FTP-server with TLS support. It encrypts the control-connection and leaves the data-connection unencrypted.
I think this feature is supported by ProFTPD.
John R. Halls book "Programming Linux Games" is now awailable freely on the web. Go to his site for a copy or order it from No Starch Press.
I'm really starting to hate that phrase.
:-)
CNN should implement a karma system for their reporters:
- Overused phrases (-1 Troll)
- Actual real new info (+1 Informative)
Be free to come up with better ideas.
Damn, I was wondering why that was starting to get slow..
I'm mirroring the files on ftp://ftp.stenstad.net/mirrors/ftp.blender.nl/ now, as ftp.blender.nl seems down..
Don't mess with other ISPs. Depeer them. Most peering contracts allows ISPs to depeer without reason.
That'll teach them a lesson.
