    Somehow i think the notion of 'no money' sits uncomfortable with advertisement companies, such as Google.

    What does the BBC mean by "slow down". Why should anyone *want* to join a farce such as the EU,
    and then even worse, the Euro? As if joining the EU was inevitable.

    What the BBC could have said,
    "The majority of the Icelandic population wants to remain free from the EU, and the Euro."

    While belief in God(s) or any perfect imaginary friend can provide a sense of hope and a sense of purpose, it's still just a placebo effect. Ignorance is often bliss. I think solving the actual, real causes of illnesses should be preferred. Sorting out and making sense of feelings, thoughts, and physical situations.

    Sending any depressed or hopeless person to church or mosque, or leaving them to their own superstitions, to prevent suicide is a very cruel mistreatment.

    Atheism and science are far from perfect, much remains to be discovered and understood. Yet compared to religions, at least science *tries* to fix problems.

    All currencies have a subjective value for each individual at each point in time. Unlike an objective value as say, 1 meter, or 1 gram.

    When i'm willing to trade 1 BTC for 1 USD or 1 g Gold that's my choice, and if anyone else agrees during that time we can trade.

    I'm having a zen-like moment where i'm thinking as a ferengi and a hippie at the same time... Money is a game that we're all forced to play, and naturally there are many that looses. Then comes the problem that the rich can rig the game so that they win no matter how stupid they are.

    Just hand it over to any teenager - they usually destroy most things that comes anywhere near them.
    To guarantee swift and total destruction make sure to tell them to *please* be careful with it.

    During my Privoxy experimental years i tried life without sending any HTTP User Agent header.
    It mostly worked fine. Some pages looked wierd. And a few pages refused, and barfed errors;
    "Danger! Danger! Server is confused. Evil user for sure."

    The only way to end these endless UA detection games is to NOT play.

    There will be some rough sailing for some years. But once we've crossed that problem,
    the benefits makes it worth it.

    Considering that younger children are, like most animals, agnostic from birth. And when humans
    grows up they either discover that religion is bull and becomes atheists. Or joins a religion.

    The younger they are - the more likely agnostic. And many adults are agnostic.

    Symbolism and placebo effects can have some usefulness.
    Earth Hour is a last desperate attempt at getting people to at least try to save something.
    Just to see what it's like. After that, more people can start saving all-year round.

    Hopefully people starts to realize that saving isn't that uncomfortable and that it's for their own good.

    As infected computers are often infected multiple times. Perhaps future viruses should
    just wipe the drive and install a clean Linux, and then run their malware job from there.
    Sure, it's more complicated but think of the rewards: better uptimes, faster performance,
    and great protection from competing viruses.

    (Hint: i'm being sarcastic, or cynical.)
