The actual reason for the delay is that Intel and George Foreman have teamed up to provide a way to remove all that heat coming from the P4. Intel is just days away from announcing that the P4s will ship with a George Foreman grill attached. Combined with the refrig units that overclockers keep handy, the P4 will be the ultimate home kitchen. The P4/George Foreman grill will save time b/c now you can cook and play (insert game here) simultaneously.
I use StarOffice, but with complicated formatted documents its far from perfect. Even tranferring from Mac Office to Win Office loses some of the formatting.
Opening up the source for Office would allow a level playing field for the rest of the OS's. It's about the applications, and MS knows this. This is partially why people stay with this OS and put up with all the negatives. Most businesses in the US use MS Office as the standard way to transfer documents and such. Hit them where it hurts.
When US citizens give up their right to keep and bear arms, we will become a ruled nation rather than a governed nation. Although, I suspect some believe that has already happened. BTW, I live in Texas and I don't own any guns. I don't think I ever will, but the second ammendment is there for a reason: to protect the first. It's nice my brother is allowed to shoot animals and I get to eat them!
If I remember correctly, Transmeta CPUs will be priced around $150 for 700 MHz. The article said for as low as $150. Maybe they'll use a Transmeta CPU. They probably lose money to begin with, but the can afford to.

Yes, you can woke for a year. Most employers won't consider this because of the paperwork. Ask my wife.
