A few weeks ago in Edmonton here, at the intersection of 82nd Street and 112th ave, the traffic lights were broken for some reason. And surprisingly, people knew it became a 4-way stop and generally were behaving properly. I got through with no problems. No cops were around to direct traffic, and this was rush hour. I was impressed.
I don't think he was referring to an annual type of memorial event, like visiting a grave once a year and laying flowers, or something like Remembrance Day in Canada to remember war dead.
I think he meant that "perpetual" memorials like shrines or always-on internet pages are a not-so-constructive way of remembering people. And I would tend to agree; you have to let it go - but that doesn't mean forgetting the person entirely.
I don't have any mod points left so I'll pay you in Cheetos...*

Your reply actually has given me a less cynical/depressing viewpoint from which to consider the topic of lap dancing in general. (Thanks for that.) Up to now, because of my past experience with that "service" I had maintained the view that the dancers and club owners existed solely to remove as much money from your wallet in the most sneaky, underhanded, slimy way possible.
But the case that's being discussed right now in this forum is different: This didn't happen in Alberta, it was in Thailand or something, and I bet those girls didn't get paid nearly as much as what girls here do.
It does seem wierd to us that an event like this would have included lap dancing. But then again, I'm (we're) looking at this from the point of view of a North-American (probably), where norms are different from where this took place.
I think most people buying these phones (or any phone, except maybe the IPhone) don't care what operating system they are using. Most mortals care about the coolness of the phone itself and its ease-of-use-ness. If it happens that the phone runs Android, well, ok.

Me too. And, they're not cheap...

Some costumers enjoy dressing up and getting screwed...
I think Gears of War 2 does this too.
Heh, joke's on them - I forgot my password.
