When I am fixing your commercial freezer in your restaurant, my time is worth $85.00 dollars an hour (during normal working hours, time and half on week ends/night) But when I am cutting my lawn, my time is not worth $85.00, it is worth less than the $20.00 I could pay the neighbor's kid to mow my lawn. Same with games. When I buy a.99 cent game, i expect.99 cents worth of fun over the time I spend playing. And with a $49.00 game, I expect $49.00 worth of fun, over the life of the game. If it is a subscription type game, and I don't enjoy playing it, then I have wasted my time and money for the time i played. Somehow becoming disillusioned after playing for 1000 hours, does not make all the hours I played prior become wasted.

I for one believe the government has no business in which or how many guns I buy, nor any business telling me what chemicals I can ingest for my personal use. When I was playing WoW on Blizz's servers, I had a character who at 13th level had the majority of the flightpaths in the game, and most of the maps uncovered. Had a lot of deaths too. I just liked exploring and seeing new places as opposed to grinding and killing to level so I could get bigger and better stuff to kill more stuff to get....
I also had around 8K in gold, a full guild bank with all tabs at 13th level too (I liked the AH). But for some strange reason i got into trying to level, went from 13th to 41st in five or six days and got burned out.
Quit playing for a long while. Now I play on a private server, by myself and occasionally some friends, and have a good time doing stuff that I want to do. The only thing I really miss from WoW being a MMORPG is the AH.
XP farming is a design flaw. Simple XP values matched to level means that easily defeated mobs are worth 0 XP. Failure to have such matched values, speaks of the designers flawed abilities, not user created content.
It would be more effective to build a fence, and stage 20 man units in bunkers every 10 miles with an array of sensors on each side of the fence. The 700 miles of fence called for by GW and friends worked out costwise to $595.00USD per foot of fence. A simple 12' high metal fence with sensors to detect approaches within 300 yards of the fence should be much cheaper, even with deployment of troops every 10 miles. It would protect our border and country from not only drug smugglers(which if the government would legalize drugs there would be no drug smugglers), terrorists(a low risk of them sneaking over the border, much easier to fly in with a visa) and illegal aliens. But the liberal crowd cries unfair to poor immigrants(check out kidnappings in Arizona for fun and games) coming to America to better themselves, and the conservatives who don't want their big business buddies to lose the low paid slaves from Mexico.
Personally, I like the idea of shoot to kill anyone caught crossing the border, it is cheap, effective and the illegals and smugglers would quickly stop trying when death at 2000fps explodes their head every attempt.
