To correct you fallacy about pedophiles. There is no cure or therapy that works for them. Even the popular "castrate the buggers" does nothing except force them to violate children using objects. When they started using depro to "chemically castrate" sex offenders, they would go find a doctor and get testosterone shots to offset the depro. Pedophiles and homosexuals are not the same thing, but they have they same characteristics in that the orientation can not be "cured" or changed. The biggest difference is that homosexual don't harm anyone, while pedophiles do. The only cure for pedophilia is a bullet in the back of the head. that cures them immediately and they never suffer a relapse.

the incarceration rate is biased as hell due to the number of non-violent and drug related inmates. factor those out and we have an average incarceration rate for the world. Our biggest problems is we are forced to cut sentences short, and with mandatory minimums, often times it is the violent offenders that get cut loose, instead of those who should not be there in the first place.

The last six games I have bought are still in the original packaging unopened. Over the years I have spent a small fortune on games, that after purchase turned out to be complete piles of steaming dog crap. I refuse to buy a game now unless I have downloaded it and played it for at least a few hours and enjoyed it. I downloaded Age of Empires and the x-pac for it a few years ago. Played it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Took me two weeks to find the hard copies of the two and buy them, but I did. If the games had a cheaper price point or a return policy, I would buy more of them. Until that happens, it is download, test and then make a decision.

The same thought process that protects abortion, cosmetic surgery and elective surgery should considered for drugs also. My body, my choice. To say otherwise means you don't quite grasp the concept of personal ownership. Funny as you are very vocal about your belief of IP owners to protect and dictate how their IP is used, yet think it is not OK for a person to decide how to utilize their own body.
