Version 8 is a real monster which installs a ton of shit, which you can't really get rid of - even if you chose not to install it, it installs and runs services etc. I used to like it - that is over.
Why is it ALWAYS that companies inflate theri programs to the point of unusability - Nero, Paintshop pro it goes on...
It's probably a question of spatial orientation in the mind - I detest the label crap of gmail and only use it as a trashbin for all the tons of websites you need to register to. But I would never use it in a serious way.
Any extentions which try to fix the broken nature of gmail are not relevant since they aren't part of it. And create labels that you only use beneath another one? That's a total rubbish system.
The original poster appeared to suggest that since a real scientist would question everything forever there is no global warming, i was trying to tell him politely there is - science tells us it factually is getting hotter and we are adding to that.
"Are you willing to die for what you "say" you believe in?"
I believe in death.

If bandwidth prices weren't amorally and ridiculously high, this wouldn't be much of a problem.
"For instance I searched for "avg" on google and counted the number of "href=" appearances on the resulting page. It happened to be an even 100."
Because you have set a cookie to that effect - the default of google is to return 10 results (and possible news tieins)
By people who think it's slimy for a program to manually scan a lot of pages you aren't going to read anyway.
Wow god, tell me do all download managers also do this?
Yep, Slashdot just helped the Black Hats!
Another study shows that 62% of dial-up users did not know you can download porn from the internet.
Good to see that Slashdot has abandoned the last pretense of objectivity.
But I heard there was a dangerous exploitable bug in 3.0 - so if it takes them that long to fix it - well that's almost microsoft!
If you don't get modded down.
No companies releases finished programs, they just say they do. And then you get version 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 and 2.0 and 3.0 and 4.0 etc
Google are just honest.
Funny, I don't see the equality.

No, that's pathetic. Bring back folders.
So apart from they are not the same what is the difference.
Gmail sucks when it comes to storage and they have done nothing to fix this since they think they are god of the universe.
You mean you don't just run them over?!
"Hah! if certain realms didn't suck so bad they wouldn't have that problem would they."
Naa, suck is subjective.
Nifty.
Wonder how fast it is.
Yeah whatever.

I personally know someone who got hacked, she has no idea how it happened (I would guess a virus infection from a hacked third party website).
Blizzard offers this - if the idiots out there can't spare the one time charge of 7 bucks they are free to not do it.
Name changes and realm changes cost precisely because they want to keep it down and not have the kids change every 5 seconds.
They are not the police.
Nowhere ever have I seen USB keys at such a low price, even the cheapest slowest 512mb one would be 10 dollars more expensive.
And get a new one.
