Well, something that is obscure is just something that's hard to read. A password is supposed to be hidden, and not seen at all. "Security through obscurity" is the idea that they'll be able to see your algorithms, just not figure it out.

Basically the ideology there is that all these transes-come-lately are stealing testosterone from the tru trans guys, and also making them look bad. Which is dumb, because if there's more demand for testosterone sales, the pharmaceutical companies will just make more. And really, the effect is just to put down the most vulnerable members of our community - those who are just figuring out their identities and figuring out where they belong. And it's not like trans people were exactly well-respected up until the moment that some kid decided to use "they/them" pronouns.
I mean, I'm trans. And part of being trans online nowadays is learning to tell TERFs apart from feminists, and trolls apart from trans women. It's a *really* common tactic for anti-SJW people to say "As a black disabled transgendered, I think that really it's white men who are most oppressed. This catering has gone too far!" I'm not gonna get it right 100% of the time, but a lot of times it's pretty obvious.
I don't know anything about you - maybe you're a trans lady too, which explains your concern about doxxing trans people. But in the overwhelming majority of my experience, people on the #feminist side are trans-inclusive, and the kind of people who are #gamergate are... not. Like, I use 4chan, and I play video games - I know what gamer culture is like. I also use tumblr, so I know what "SJW" culture is like, too. And of the two communities, it's very clear to me which one I'm more welcome in.
It could also be before the hospital knew / suspected it was E bola. For all I know, he vomited on the sidewalk, went to the hospital, and while he was on his way the cleaning crew cleaned up vomit (cuz that's what they do).
Exactly! When will people learn that it's what the *computer* cares about that's important? People are useless slobs, I can't wait for them all to be wiped out in the robot uprising.:)
Also, have you *seen* tech recently? If hiring pasty white guys is suddenly unacceptable, about 90% of the current workforce has their pink slip in the mail already.

It's because Zoe Quinn once tweeted a link to an article that exposed an MRA who was posing as a trans woman while trying to negatively modify Zoe Quinn's Wikipedia page, as well as softening the page on the misogynist Isla Vista killings and on the men's rights movement. He also has explictly admitted to being a dude, so, you know. Not transphobia if they're not trans.:)
Also, like, all your posts are about how serious #gamergate is, and how feminists are the real hypocrites who are dangerous and must be stopped.
So, uh, yeah, don't bother with that follow-up post.

Early E bola symptoms are things like "headache, muscle pain, weakness, stomach pain" - basically, it looks like the flu.
Dude shows up at the hospital, is like "guys I feel kinda sick," they give him the standard treatment "take 2 and call me in the morning." Given that he lied about his risk factors on the travel documentation, I doubt he told the full truth at the hospital.
He goes home, vomits, goes back to the hospital, where they're like "oh hey, now we can tell what you're sick with, better quarantine you."
In the meantime, workers clean up the vomit on the sidewalk, because that's what you do with vomit on the sidewalk.
And yeah, if there aren't fluids all over the inside of the ambulance, it's fine. Dunno bout the family/quarantine thing, though.
Exactly - it's designed to keep the guys from having to send out hundreds of low-quality messages, and instead, only send a few thought-out messages to women they already have a good chance with.
