    Im on pay as you go as in by the minute as I do not use that much time. Also I'm in Canada so I can't help you there.

    Having a smart phone != having an expensive plan. I am on a simple pay as you go plan, and have a Nexus S. It's capabilities are far and above being just a phone.

    All of the policies he's pushed for are pretty far right of the general population. Disregard his image, or how you perceive him. Its his policies that matter, and so far he has shown himself to be pretty far right (with the sole exception of the repeal of don't ask don't tell).

    That's what you get when you have free trade and one country decides not to play by the rules. American corporations love free trade because it allows them to commoditize the populations of various countries. Its actually really bad for American citizens, but still so many people believe in it because they are told to believe in it.

    I'm not sure why I'm still commenting as you obviously will never understand that Google does not have to do something just because you think they should. When you own a large company like Google then you can decide what is in their best interest.

    No, they don't. They don't need to do anything. They provide a free service, if you don't like this policy, don't use them. Simple as that. They are not obligated to provide the service to those under 13 just because you want them to.

    Mod parent up. He is correct that OP is a moron. I'm from Canada as well, and that is indeed how its done.
    The law is that you cannot enter the intersection on a red. If you are already there, you must clear the intersection.
    Also... as far as this...

    I *have* driven in an area where left turns on red are "illegal" (Philadelphia) and they aren't really illegal as far as I can tell. Instead, the left turn lights turn RED after they give you an opportunity to do a protected left turn. Notice that in the first paragraph I mention the driver must have a green light when they enter...

    We have those in Ontario too. I know of several in my city - all are where there are 2 left hand turn lanes. You get an advance, and then a red.

    It is patently obvious to any but the brain-dead that you simply cannot trust ANYONE - police, army, civilians - with anything capable of deadly force

    The *only* reason I agree with gun ownership is because you cannot trust anyone with them. Since it is arguably required that our police have them, and since we cannot trust them, the citizenry must have guns as well to protect themselves from the police.
