Having a smart phone != having an expensive plan. I am on a simple pay as you go plan, and have a Nexus S. It's capabilities are far and above being just a phone.
All of the policies he's pushed for are pretty far right of the general population. Disregard his image, or how you perceive him. Its his policies that matter, and so far he has shown himself to be pretty far right (with the sole exception of the repeal of don't ask don't tell).
That's what you get when you have free trade and one country decides not to play by the rules. American corporations love free trade because it allows them to commoditize the populations of various countries. Its actually really bad for American citizens, but still so many people believe in it because they are told to believe in it.
Companies with that much market share need to lead by example
I'm not sure why I'm still commenting as you obviously will never understand that Google does not have to do something just because you think they should. When you own a large company like Google then you can decide what is in their best interest.
Google needs to reign in their marketing bla bla bla
No, they don't. They don't need to do anything. They provide a free service, if you don't like this policy, don't use them. Simple as that. They are not obligated to provide the service to those under 13 just because you want them to.
Mod parent up. He is correct that OP is a moron. I'm from Canada as well, and that is indeed how its done.
The law is that you cannot enter the intersection on a red. If you are already there, you must clear the intersection.
Also... as far as this...
I *have* driven in an area where left turns on red are "illegal" (Philadelphia) and they aren't really illegal as far as I can tell. Instead, the left turn lights turn RED after they give you an opportunity to do a protected left turn. Notice that in the first paragraph I mention the driver must have a green light when they enter...
We have those in Ontario too. I know of several in my city - all are where there are 2 left hand turn lanes. You get an advance, and then a red.
All you've said is that corporations are *legally* people. Hint: we all already knew that. The point is that they are not *actually* people, and they should not (in our opinion) be considered legally people.
In short: you have said nothing new or insightful that we did not know already.
You took the top top. I never said "its 99% of the top ten". So fuck off with trying to put words in my mouth. Also, you've pointed out that hotmail and yahoo encourage child accounts - fine! let all the under 13s go there instead of bitching about Google.
wtf? I post an anti-mac comment and you post this huge rant about Linux, assuming I am from that camp. I have said the same things about Linux over and over and over again. y you mad tho?

It is patently obvious to any but the brain-dead that you simply cannot trust ANYONE - police, army, civilians - with anything capable of deadly force
The *only* reason I agree with gun ownership is because you cannot trust anyone with them. Since it is arguably required that our police have them, and since we cannot trust them, the citizenry must have guns as well to protect themselves from the police.
I think its the opposite for most everyone else. They ask the following questions.
Does it have Firewire? Yes - Fuck that, move on.
Does it have USB? Yes - Awesome lets see what else it has...
Im on pay as you go as in by the minute as I do not use that much time. Also I'm in Canada so I can't help you there.

He is as much a liberal as Obama is a liberal - ie. not at all.

just a bonus witch
Gotta love those bonus witches.

The real message is "You're not donating enough money to our campaigns, fix that or we'll destroy your business.
Yup, pretty much this.
Not better, just dumber and with shinier toys.
Mac users have a lower IQ
What exactly is the charge? I had a quick read through the article and it was not mentioned.

What kind of moron can't read? Since the OP this whole chain has been about Canada.
errr "haven't" not "having".... odd how that happens...
Add to that, why is it suddenly Obama's fault that the congress can't get its act together and pass a clean bill
Because everything's Obama's fault! Having you been watching the Republican primary debates? They tell you every 5 minutes.

That's not 99%, that's nowhere near 99%.

or it means they do what 99% of other websites do. Under 13? Nope sorry goodbye.
And practicing repeating the words "Obama is a Socialist"
Please read the following;
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
"fuck you kid, come back when you're 18."
The age is 13, not 18, and because of your ignorance,
"fuck you Moryath, come back when you know what you're talking about"
Why do you blame Google? They are only following these stupid laws about children under 13. They didn't write the laws, blame the people who did.

Yeah, those MacBook Airs are just rubbish man.
Glad you can at least admit to that... but in Apple's defense the hardware isn't rubbish, just that piece of shit OS they have on it is.
