    Reports Reporting, huh?
    Is that like pre-reserving?

  4. Voice of Reason on Do Your $20 Bills Explode In the Microwave? · · Score: 1

    I just gotta say this:
It's kinda scary when the slashdot community is the voice of reason, especially when talking about government monitoring programs.

  8. I never have a problem on Analysis of Netflix's DVD Allocation System · · Score: 1

Of course, I really only use Netflix for the weird, obscure stuff I want to watch. If I'm looking to see the crazy popular blockbuster that was released last week, I go to my Blockbuster. If I want something that the majority of the dvd watching population has no interest in or hasn't ever heard of, I go to Netflix.

Oddly, I never have to compete with other subscribers for those dvd's.

  9. Sigh on Are You on Clonaid Board of Directors? · · Score: 3, Funny

And the Raelian sect has seen its dues-paying membership swell by 10 percent because of all the publicity, according to its founder...

Scientists were openly skeptical, but the group nonetheless received enormous news media attention.

So, the news is that Clonaid isn't a legitimate company? It seems the press is still falling right into their hands...

  10. Misrepresentation on A Year in the Life of Wood Ants · · Score: 3, Informative

It's not really that unique. It seems that the ant noise is used only as a background, while folks talk about ant physiology, diet info, etc.

The "computer voice" actually takes away from the documentary, in my opinion.

  11. Re:C? on Hepatitis Drug Breakthrough · · Score: 2, Informative

A vaccine would prevent contraction of the disease. This drug treats those who already have it.
