Apple is opposed to the [jailbreak] exemption because it will destroy the technological protection of Apple's key copyrighted computer programs in the iPhone(TM) device itself and of copyrighted content owned by Apple that plays on the iPhone, resulting in copyright infringement, potential damage to the device and other potential harmful physical effects, adverse effects on the functioning of the device, and breach of contract.
Every map needs to have a scale bar at the very least. We need something to tell us where this thing is and what all the colors mean. Also, there is nothing 3D about it.
Well I have the Inspiron 6000. One generation chipset behind yours, and Intel stopped supporting it.
The system itself is more than capable of playing back HD video and working as a media center, but it is essentially a file server now because all the actually useful hardware is useless.
No, the correct answer is that Intel discontinued support for it... and now it doesn't work. It is a DX9 capable chipst too. Runs Compiz just fine on ubuntu.
I have been tring to turn that old system into a media center, and it has been a disaster.
Then explain why my printer doesn't work on Windows 7, when it works in XP, VIsta, OSX and Ubuntu? Out of the box in two of those four(I'll let you guess which).
I would also like you to explain why my 4 year old Dell laptop doesn't let me pick the appropraite resolution in Windows 7, when it will in XP, Vista and Ubuntu.
The sooner big American media delist themselves and deprive themselves of mindshare, marketshare and revenue, the better.
I like Google News because it forces me to get my news from a variety of sources. You click a headline and you can be taken to any one of the worlds newspapers
The iPhone UI sucks a lot harder than WebOSs, and it is no better than Android.
The ONLY selling point of the iPhone is the ecosystem. Brand loyalty, huge number of apps and huge installed base. The phone itself is bland compared to all the other offerings(most new phones are essentially an iPhone plus a couple other features, like a high res display or a physical keyboard), and the software is about as advanced as Palm OS 4.0. I don't know how Apple can ship a product in 2009 that doesn't support multitasking.
WebOS doesn't require a jailbreak. You just have to enable it in a hidden menu. Anyone who wants to can easily and safely do it, and instructions were posted by people at Palm.
I disagree with the cap in principle, but even realistically, even when I downloaded over a hundred hours of HD video, I only hit around 150GB for the month. People who go over 250GB regularly are probably using an unreasonable amount of bandwidth.
Again though, I disgree with it in principle, because there is nothing stopping them from lowering it in the future, or forcing them to raise it as usage patters for the internet change.
Well, not completely worthless. I think he has a gold tooth.
How is this different/better than the sandforce controllers we already have?
I'm just telling it how it is im on your side.
Apple:
There is a law against jailbreaking, it's called the DMCA. Moreover, you violate Apples TOS and invalidate your warranty.
The iPad is great for checking email, not so much for writing it.
I have a laptop, a netbook and an iPad. I use the netbook almost not at all.

You said it yourself.
They were trying to put up a giant wall of text along the border.
Interesting. I had never seen that language before.
Still, it is a pretty big loophole.
It does if it is licensed under GPL v3.

the iphone will be the runt of the litter for another 7 months. Do you think that will affect sales?

No they can't.
They are the lowest rung on the ladder. The President has to sign it and the Supreme Court has to approve it.
Yes.
Aquaculture still doesn't solve it. You still have to catch all the fish you need to feed the Tuna.
Humans should stop eating meat altogether, but if people can't manage that then at least stop eating top level carnivores.
The people who cause global warming turned the research into a circus, because they stand to profit from it.
It seems pretty transparent to me.
No, you just watch California on TV.
Of course, the guy who stands to gain $3.5bn worth of funding is "confident" that it can work.

Sprints Clearwire wimax hardware can be switched over to LTE apparently with just a firmware update.
If LTE takes off, Sprint/Clearwire will almost certainly adopt it.
I use firefox on all my systems because of xmarks. I wish they would release it for hte Pre, too.
